Every time I hear about this topic it seems to be totally from the woman’s perspective. You must leave the toilet seat down because if it’s dark she might fall in; right? Well, what about from a man’s perspective? For men, if its dark and the toilet seat is down they end up making a total mess of the bathroom. And regardless of up or down, woman or man, shouldn’t you check every time? Why is this a issue for women?

This doesn't answer your question, but I am accustomed to getting up early and grabbing a towel for my shower and setting it on top of the toilet while I shower so its right there for me when I get out. Today I went through my normal routine and didn't realize i left the seat up, so when I went to dry myself off, I found my towel absording 5-6 gallons of toilet water. Yay!

...in todays modern world that would be one of the first signs that she is controling. if your willing to stop and put the seat down each time befor u leave out the room. then she figgers she can train u to sit, roll over and play dead too.. even though u think ur just being a gentalmen. most will take as "u r submissive". if u do it once. get ready to do it every time..lol a real wommen wont care if it`s up or down and be thankful she no longer has to use an out-house. in fact the seat up or down gos that far back. OUT HOUSES. she has bigger and better things to worry about. just like us men and or car radios. if we are real men, we dont care if she listins to wat she likes also. in fact we will be kind enough to ask what she prefers.. rather than be a radio hog..

I've never had a problem with it. I always check before I sit. ALWAYS. AND I always make sure there is tp. That can be a bad situation if you're home alone.

Actually that is not one of my pet peeves if it is up when I go by the bathroom I do put it down. Just don't make and issue of it.

Now the shower curtain is a different issue close the damn thing if your going to take a shower shshshs...

Down. since I live alone, I don't have those issues. If I have a visitor, (which is rare), I will leave the toilet seat down anyway. I would hate to fall in and scare my neighbors.

Personally I don't care if its up I can put it down......if the very top lid is down I can put it up....my hands aren't broken..........

Ohhh now what got me is this one guy I dated for a while had a issue about how the toilet paper was put on the roller. It had to roll over it just totally got to him if you put it where it went under..

Toilet seat should always be down i mean can't you aim lollllllllllllllllll i guess uncut guys make more mess then cut guys cause they can't aim as well and hit the seat logic go get cut and cleaned at the doctors for the ladys and and pratice so you miss hitting the seat also have lysol wipes beside you if miss your aim in first few but you should learn easy i mean dam theres a big hole inbetween toilet seat for me i leave it down and never hit the seat haha
