I haven't been on here in while and wonder how the rest of you feel about the medical marijuana debate.
I live in Colo and it is legal and it not only helps a lot of people but also really helps the economy. Any pros and cons out there?

Hi gal, it has been a while. Moved out here when my son's live in girlfriend committed suicide, to help him out, and fell in love with the place. It is so beautiful here, I can step out the front door and see Pikes Peak, go 10 miles and be fishing, or be in the mountains, perfect for this country boy.

all the grandbabies aren't there any more. Sherrie moved to Pampa and my youngest boy is in Albuquerque, they are all scattered out now, just 15 grandbabies and 1 great grandson now, to many to keep up with lol

I was talking to a surviving grower of marijuana around here. He seems to think that they will make it legal some day. He is an endangered species since growers of marijuana are always in season in this area. It makes me laugh because I know it would take away from the income that law enforcement gets from arresting them. Every morning you can turn on the radio to hear about another fallen grower. I have been trying to tell him that law enforcement needs that income for gas and to keep them shiny new cars going. They are going to let some new grower cut into their take. They have built up a legal way to capitalize on the misfortune of others. This a capitalist country and one built on religious principles. The poor will always be among us and the important thing is to not let that poor person be you. Just look at all the legal business that would suffer if even for medical marijuana was allowed. Here law enforcement says, "Suffer your children your little children to come unto our jails for such is the kingdom of the penitentiary." This is the land of opportunity and the natural state so we can't have any legal marijuana around here to disrupt our opportunity because we feel that smoking marijuana isn't natural. We can see where it is a natural plant because we have burned much harvest. Come join law enforcement because the laborers are few but the harvest is right for burning. Of course, obey the burn ban because we don't to burn any marijuana that we don't get credit for. It wouldn't be prudent at this juncture. I have tried to detour him from being a closet marijuana grower.

Here in Colo it is legal and you worrying about growing it, my son has his liscense and he can grow 6 plants right here in his back yard LEGALLY. And if he is a caregiver he can grow even more.
And the county here brings in about 50 thou a month just from the taxes at the dispenseries, never thought I would be able to go into a store and buy pot, but you can here.
