So that's who you end up having to argue with because those are the only people who are naive enough to continually support this kind of nonsense. Am I obeying God by questioning that the Bible is the "Word of God" Cowboy? And what source do we turn to for a final answer in the matter? Clearly we can't turn to the Bible since it is the scripture that is in question. So now what do we do Cowboy? |

And that's all that is. An opinion. Just as it's an opinion of those who claim that the Bible is the word of God. It's no different. In fact, I'm glad you brought this up because I will indeed confess that this is my opinion. And thus I need no proof to hold it. Now, if the Christians can confess that their claim that the Bible is the "word of God" is just their opinion we'll be all set. However, if they claim that the Bible is the word of God in some way that is more than just their opinion, then it's up to them to provide PROOF of that outrageous claim (other than just because the authors of the Bible claim that they speak for God). After all, many mythologies claim to speak for their Gods and Goddesses. So having an author proclaim that they are speaking for a God is not impressive. ~~~~~ Now Peter, You made the claim that the Bible TELLS US to question everything. Can you prove that claim? Or is that just your opinion?

You never said it was your opinion, why change your story now? Is it because this is just like your numerous claims of what the "BIBLE DEMANDS" or what Christians "MUST" believe?
