I got a good laugh at some of these replies. Move it to the Christianity section!!!!!!!!We can't possibly have a pro Christianity topic in the General religion section. No,no,no we can only have the nauseating,Christianity sucks,Christianity is bad for the planet,Christianity is the reason for all my problems and yours, blah, blah, blah. Isn't it a little arrogant to presume only your way of thinking is right though man? How can God be everywhere and yet be in one place? He can't, this is the problem in a nutshell with christianity and really organized religion as a whole. From a wholly logical standpoint, it simply does not make sense. God can be everywhere for he is omnipresent. There is only a problem in Christianity for those whom wish to try to make one. All in all there is no problem with Christianity if you try to understand it with a sincere heart rather then premeditated thoughts of it being fiction. Yes but do you not understand what I am saying? How can only one faith of all the faiths in the world be right, and everyone else wrong? How is it loving of a loving God to play favorites in such a way? If He's more loving then we, this and more simply does not work. And again if God is everywhere, He can then be felt in each and every religion if you seek Him. Do you think people somehow can't feel God simply because they are not Christian or don't believe as you do? Joh_14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Is that all you can do is quote a Bible passage? How about trying to actually argue my point without that? "I have no other argument I have no other plea it is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me..." |

But the torah was fulfilled....... the old testament was fulfilled. Jesus gave us the new testament, the new covenant between man and our father. That's your interpretation which you don't even respect yourself because you still judge others based on things that come from the Old Testament. Redykeulous already called you on it in another thread. If you're going to take the stance the Jesus brought a New Covenant and that we are no longer to judge others, they you must stop judging others, but you refuse to do that. I judged no one, I did not say anyone was going to hell for their actions. Nor do I know of what you're referring to about Redykeulous, the only thing I can think of is stuff from the 10 commandments, which I showed if you followed everyone of Jesus' teachings you would find all 10 commandments. |

I judged no one, Sure you do. You judge everyone who doesn't worship Hebrew mythology as the "Word of God" to be disobeying "Our Father". You are judging other people's relationship with God. Shame on you! This is the fundamental basis that causes the kinds of atrocities we have seen throughout history. Who know how you might behave if you were in a position of power and could control armies, you might very well condemn everyone who refuses to worship "Our Father" simply because you judge them to not be worshiping him unless they cower down to your bigotry in the name of "Our Father". This is precisely what makes dogmatic religions so hateful and dangerous. You refuse to respect the spirituality of others unless they cower down to your religious bigotry. That the essence of a Hitler. |

Your views are distorted. I didn't write the Bible. The hatefulness that is written in the Bible stands on its own. I stand for all that is Good. I even stand up for Jesus against the nasty attack of the Christians who wrote the New Testament. I save Jesus from their petty attempt to use him to incite religious bigotry in his name. I am the savior of Jesus. Doing my best to save his name from the filth that Christians bestow upon him. It's bad enough that they crucified him physically, but then to crucify his character afterward was a far greater atrocity. You can't love others until you can accept them for who they are. And you can't accept them for who they are if you judge them to be an enemy of God. Which is obviously how you judge me. If you wish to love me you must first accept me for who I am and not judge me to be an enemy of God. That's your judgment upon me, not my choice at all. I am not an enemy of God, yet you have proclaimed that I am. |

Would you love one of your own kids more then another? I don't think so. 2. Disobedience. This is a big word, says a lot to me. Says, obey, obey, obey, never question, just obey, and be punished if you don't. Why does this seem familiar? Oh I know, our government does the same thing! Coincidence? Somehow I think not. All religion is an invention of man to control, it does not speak for God and never did. There is no way a truly loving God would be upset at one questioning what they are told, or would seek such obedience as you describe. |

They were not to take any objects of these sinful people or anything, just get up and leave. Then Jesus judged the ones that were left. Jesus didn't just one day get up and say to himself "hmmm, these look like a good group of people to mass murder". No my friend it was a judgement, less we forget that Jesus is the judge of all. We are judged by the word and Jesus is the word in flesh. |

Oh but they don't. "Christians" do not treat gay couples with the same respect that they give to heterosexual couples. So you're living a lie if you think that Christians treat everyone the same. They also don't respect other people's religions and spiritual views the same as they view their own. The disrespect comes from you more often than anyone else, whether Christian or non... ~~~~~

The problem is Kleisto that you are arguing with people who are incapable of comprehending these things. You're right that the bible was written by very dubious and crafty men to control the masses using fear and threats that they should not question the word of God. And thus the people who have bought into there brainwashing scheme are precisely the kinds of people who fall for this sort of thing. So that's who you end up having to argue with because those are the only people who are naive enough to continually support this kind of nonsense. |
