Really? Full of hot air is an excuse?? He's verbally abusing you... He's an azzhole and trying to act like a controlling tool to get keep you in line...

I'm sad for you that you think his behavior is acceptable...

The way I'd deal with it is "walk away" with a police escort just to be on the safe side...

Leave him...
It may be threats now, it will be physical sooner or later if not already. I know that is easier said than done, be strong. Leave him.

YEA. thats the general response i get. I know its true too! I know all about abuse too. its not that I am blind to it... I just dont know what to do, we have 2 kids together... I want them to have their dad in their lives, but i dont want them learning his bad behaviors. I moved 1300 miles from him and now he is begging and pleading, sayin he will do anything to be with me...

Once an abuser ALWAYS an abuser... Been there done that gave the second chance and almost got killed... It's not worth it..

Have enough self-respect to do what you need to do to take care of yourself so you can take care of your kids... Fathers are important but if they're abusive to you they'll more than likely be abusive to the children which is wrong of you to put your kids in that position... Kids are better off without an abusive parent...

My ex used to scream things like that at me too....and it just led to the night he punched me in the spine because I was washing dishes and not doing what he wanted.... He got the message when I turned with the carving knife and told him where I would put it if he ever hit me again.mad

He was out of the house about two weeks later because of that temper. Please don't let your relationship get to that point, I was lucky.flowerforyou

Your kids will be aneasier target for abuse, smaller, weaker, want to love their daddy and wont understand it is wrong when he hits them or verbally abuses them. Don't you dare for a minute believe he wont. You have kids, they are your responsability, not his happiness, pleas for forgiveness or promises to be better. Men do not change.

if one was not the same itself, it would know how unsane it is to even begin to declare one would fucck a sister for revenge, or chop off another human's head, under any circumstances.

inspect self for negative assertion's heard from others as true about self, so as to increase the self awareness to increase the knowing to increase the insight of sane behaviour and unsane behaviour.

Their job is to arrest people, they aren't marriage counsellors. But from your other post about getting mad when you don't get your way, sounds like you've got anger issues too.
Kid's get mad when they don't get their way, not grownups, at least they shouldnt, you're pretty much acting like an extra child for your husband to deal with...

Yes, you DO make things happen in your life...but if you get confrontational about things and claim that the police are only there to arrest people, maybe it is because of that confrontational attitude that you feel you might get arrested. If he is screaming and threatening, his azz deserves to be thrown in jail.

one would not be very aware, if it did not realize that all itself works to get for itself, still comes from another human.

many work to get what they want for themself, and get fuccked, because they forgot, OTHER'S do indeed decide if they """WANT""" TO FUCCK YOU OVER, OR NOT.

one gets what it wants without getting killed in the process, by CREATING THE """WANT""" IN OTHER'S TO "MUTUALLY" WORK WITH SELF TO ATTAIN FOR THEMSELF AS WELL.

demands in these days, shall bring down even the tallest empires, since unsanity as irrational demands rules the less aware brain, or that which but stared intensely at its own self want and agenda as supreme.

Send him to prison, have him be Tyrone's little biatch, and then see how much of a changed man he becomes.

I have responded to make domestic disturbances in my time. It doesn't always end up with an arrest. The police are there to keep the peace. Generally an arrest is only made if violence has been reported, or there is a history of abuse and violence. The police can be a great help. I have responded to several cases where all it took was us showing up. The couple managed to seek counseling and work through their problems.

In your case however where there is a constant threat of violence you and you children are better off away from him. I have seen too many times where the woman has said it's always just been talk he's never acted on it. Sadly to say those are the women we have had to send to the hospital because he finally acted and caused both her and her children serious harm.
Best advice. Make a clean break, and have a mediator handle visitation with his children. CPS is a great tool. I would recommend talking to them and a counsoler for further options.
