I have done my part over the years and called and reported illegals. Hell I even pressed charges on one for shoplifting. When the cop showed up he tried talking me out of it because they would have to put a hold on him and it's a lot of paperwork and he would just be back as soon as he is deported. I told the cop to either give me the forms to press charges or I will call his Sargent and the District Attorneys office. Hell when I found out he was illegal it motivated me to have the charges upgraded from Petty larceny to Burg. since he had no money on him and admitted to coming in with the intention of stealing liquor to sell for money. Well, I'm glad you caught and reported a thief. |

Undocumented immigrants make up slightly more than 4% of the U.S. adult population. However, their babies represented twice that share, or 8%, of all births on U.S. soil in 2008, according to the nonpartisan Pew Research Center’s report.
the US had around 339,760 births from illegal immigrants in 2008 alone. Add in Mom and Dad, and suddenly we have close to a million illegal immigrants that the US would have a mighty difficult time deporting — in one year.
According to a report by the Pew Hispanic Center, a think tank that has done extensive research on immigration policy, 3.8 million undocumented immigrants have at least one child who is a citizen. "Most children of unauthorized immigrants -- 73 percent in 2008 -- are U.S. citizens by birth," the center says. That's up from 63 percent in 2003.
All that tells us something about the number of immigrant births, but nothing about those who come solely to have a baby. "There are a million hardworking Hispanic people in San Diego who came here to work and then happened to have a baby," she said. "Then there are people who come over in order to have a baby."

If you say they don't have babies to stay here and he says he does then getting rid of the law is a win win. You think it doesn't have an effect, so if its gone no problem. He thinks they have babies to stay here so if it is gone he won't complain. I personally don't see why we give citizenship to people who were born here and their parents were here illegally. |
