I'm one of those people who like to take into consideration the ages of immediate family members and their spouses.

For example, at this age (I'm 22 by the way), I couldn't date a guy who is over 30, because both my sisters are in their 30's. Even over 25 is a stretch--one of my sister's fiance is turning 29 next month. I know someone who asked me out, and the 7-year difference was the deal breaker (well, that, and because I just wasn't into him like that). Inversely, I would feel absolutely awkward dating a guy who was younger than 21. My twin nephews are 18--yeah, that's not cool.

The ideal range for me is no more than 5 years. I go up in the age as I age.

I've recently, as some of you may already know, started an online relationship with an older man. I'm ver open minded about this subject as my Step mom is 10 yrs older than my father, my aunt to 30 yrs younger than my uncle and my gramma was with her love who was 22 years younger than she.
My online romancer is 25 yrs older than myself, and so far I've had no problem with that. I have always gone by who he is, how he behaves and that he treats me right. What more can you ask?

BTW.....my parents have been together 30 years, my aunt and uncle for about 20, and my Gramma was with her love for 22 years. It can work or not work no matter what the age. If it is right, its right, if not, then it's not.

BUT.....the law should always be followed....I was way way too young when I got married the first time......16 ppl, so there is a reason for these laws!

As far as age that is between the two involved my ex was 8 years older and actually never thought about it. Now I would not go under the 30 mark only due to my kids are in there 20's that is getting a little to close to there age lol But still if I meet someone and we really hit it off and I did not know how old they were and then found out well would it change my feelsing hummm hell no. At that time would not care lol

Age isn't important and if you put limitations on who you will date based on age you may miss out on something great. I am 35 and have dated women much older and much younger. They both have their benefits.

age is important
goals, how you handle situations, experiences,
what you want, everything is different depending on your age.
not sure what the limit is and sometimes you find an exception.
