Sorry, but that's either Fascism (Privately owned businesses, with business practices dictated by the Government) or Communism (The government owns all businesses). Besides, you have confused political ideology (Fascism, Communism, Capitalist) with a power structure (Oligarchy, Confederacy, Democracy), they are two different things.

Explain to me: How would the state owning all businesses be "limited power"? That directly eliminates a confederacy and a constitutional form of government.

But the owners pick the managers, right? And they can fire them right? If the government ran capitalism, Either a) the owners couldn't fire your managers or b) The government would own the office where you work.



The definitions are accurate, but they don't apply! It's as if someone said "An animal just flew past my window" and you said "It could be a pig or a cow or a dog". I respectfully submit, if an animal flew past a window, it was a bird or a bat.

Doesn't it depend on exactly what is meant by the word 'run' in this conversation? What level of micromanagement are we talking about here? To some extent, the US government has been 'running' capitalism for a long time.

That is true, our government does put burdensome regulations on many businesses. It wouldn't be unfair to say our government is run with a slightly fascist tinge. Presidents Wilson and Roosevelt were actually proponents of fascism, before it became unfashionable.

In either case, Nazi Pelosi is finished. She had her chance, and we have seen her true colors. We know what she stands for and what she wants.....and none of it is inline with what the people want, or what is good for the country.

I have a bad feeling that if Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi get the boot in November that Obama already has spots in his cabinet for them.
