I am on a career hiatus because I am taking care of my father who became sick. The thing is, my parents are the type of couple where one will not be able to survive without the other. As a result, I just learned today that my mother is also sick. I cannot even contemplate the possibility of one not recovering, so this "situation" is overwhelming me right now.

I know we are all strangers here, but I am still asking for your prayers, wherever your corner of the world might be, for my parents. And remember to cherish the people you love everyday. Let them know how you feel and show them you love them.
