You just made me realize that I have to check my hair color listed.. I used to be blonde highlighted, then blonde, IndnPrncs, you are way too smart to pass as a blonde. Just joking. Not all blondes are dumb. I met a smart blonde once. She is on the "Endangered Species" list. Watch it! Considering most blondes aren't naturally blonde, its really the other hair colors that are or play dumb, since they're the ones usually coloring their hair to blonde. |

The biggest lie I have read is one that appears in the profiles of some women here at Mingle2. In the description of body type, some women have selected "a few extra pounds" when in reality they have lots of extra pounds. Ten pounds overweight is a few extra pounds. Fifty or more pounds overweight is obese. Ask for full body pictures if it's something you're worried about. I'm not worried about it. Some women are honest enough to give a more accurate description of themselves in their profiles. Weight isn't an issue with me. Honesty is. So, you'd rather have a better description than recent pictures that show what they look like? Interesting. Honesty is important to me too chum. It seems the matter is not about the persons appearance, its about the truth/trust....but hill ya, a pic is a good representation of truth ;) I think Dodo was just making an example, tho. I guess my point is that there are a few weight categories to choose from, yet there are lots of different body types. I don't even look at the body type on profiles. I'd much rather see pictures that show exactly what someone looks like. If they're showing recent, full body pictures, I'd say that's being truthful about what they look like. |

Plenty of women here have complained about men making inaccurate statements about their outward appearance. I wanted to give an example of how a woman can also accidentally give an inaccurate statement about her own appearance. Perhaps the problem is that Mingle2 doesn't give a person the option of selecting a more-accurate description of body type. So, even if they are showing pictures that accurately show what they look like, you're still going to focus on the body type listed in the profile? I could see if there were no pictures, or only face pictures and they chose average, rather than heavyset, that would be a huge difference. But if they have recent pictures that show their body, does the body type listed in the profile really make a big difference? This is why I have several recent pictures to show what I look like so there is no guessing . |

Where is the logic in the act of a dark-haired woman dying her hair blonde? I have always had white-blond hair from my father. My mother had jet black hair. So when I was about 14, she said let's dye your hair black to match mine! Well we did. It lasted about a week then I could not stand it any longer it looked so..awful. Your skin tones need to match to make it all look right. I had to have it professionally redone. |

Those who lie simply aren't taking this site seriously, or just join to pull out some pranks. I would like to talk to the latter in person... In the dark alley... Away from police station... Yeah...
Me? I don't lie about myself. One of the points of honor. |

I let people know they can ask what they want, but I can't guarantee I'll answer everything if it gets too personal. |

Not all blondes are dumb. I met a smart blonde once. She is on the "Endangered Species" list. thanks Dodo... To answer the question on what brunettes get out of being blonde.. It's like anything else in life you get what you're looking for that makes you happy when you do it... i.e. I felt I looked better with highlights, I only went all blonde once and that was b/c my sister wanted to try it as my highlights had taken over in color.. I tried it, no big deal... I think I prefer blonde highlights to my brunette but I've stayed brunette for almost 2 yrs now.. I have an appointment next week to get the highlights back.. I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll do it... |
