What was your weirdest experience on this or another dating website? It could be funny, sad, creepy, or downright crazy. I will start this one out. The first and only time I got blocked was when I emailed someone I just started chatting with and wished her a nice day at a family barbecue and suggested that in our next chat we share interesting experiences we had on the job. The next time I tried to email her BOOM I was blocked. I was shocked and grateful at the same time: shocked because I was nothing but polite, respectful, and totally appropriate in what I said to her; grateful that I didn't hook up with a flake!noway

my weirdest but funniest experience on Mingle was when this man begged me to look at his penis....why.....because I had nice eyes!!!!!!

I was hysterical.....he wrote me this for weeks till I finally blocked him.......

I don't blame you one bit. What he did was disgusting and inappropriate!

Back in 1998, I started corresponding with a girl from Indiana, on another site. She was very interesting, seemed quite intelligent. We wound up deciding to meet about 2 weeks after the first contact. I went to meet her and she turned out to be an arsonist. Uh, no thanks. Gives new meaning to "She's hot."

A few years ago, there was a woman on another site who simply could not accept the fact that I wouldn't date her because she had kids. She pestered me for months about this. I just found it disturbing that she wouldn't take "No" for an answer....! Her attitude was really dismissive, "I know what's best for you, you should listen to me." I don't think so....

I haven't had a weird experience.

Like everyone, I get weird emails, some suggestive, and some I can't explain. whoa I've had to block many but only for annoying me.

Thankfully nothing odd has happened.

today, out with my daughter, a kid asked me 'what are you guys mixed with?'

those types of questions always seem weird to me, because I would never think to ask a stranger such a thing and because I wonder what satisfaction one gets from the answer,,,

I used to hit on this girl..and turned out she was secret service, working for the government which she told me after she assessed that I'm no threat. Then she started to like me, even though she wasn't on the site to look for a date, but to watch out for possible sexual predators..she was sort of like a bait. Eventually later on we talked a lot but then she told me, that she can't really get into any relationships..due to her job and can't really give me any info on her location, although she really liked me and wouldn't mind to meet with me, if only we could have met in a different circumstances.

So it was nice until it lasted (2 weeks). We chatted and talked..but never gone farther than that..and that was fine. She almost got me a job though..

My weirdest experience on Mingle is when a guy ask my hands in marriage and moved in with him.
I didn't reply him back because It freaked me out and I was like only two weeks here in Mingle.
I guess thats what they say when they mean 'SAVE TIME AND MEET NEW PEOPLE WITH MINGLE.'
There's nobody in here that you can't find. LOL

So I should have waited 3 weeks before I asked?

Hmmmmm. I received this email that asked "Can you fill er up?". Now, this is an interesting question due to the fact that I thought she meant did I know how to put gas in my car. I was wrong of course, and the chick never emailed me again. And she could have been "The One".

Oh! Tell us the story of when you first joined back when you had to carve what you wanted to say on a wall. I love that story.

Anyway, on topic...I am crazy, therefore there is no story more crazy than I.

Back then, things were difficult because it was almost impossible to squeeze the cave wall through the modem. It took forever.

Email from here from a guy who wanted to do the nudist living thing, year round. When I asked how that worked for cooking, and running the chainsaw (he worked at a lumber company) he claimed he would get dressed for that. But if I got with him, I'd have to run around nude all the time. whoa That was amusing, but wasn't gonna happen.

Then he got odd when discussing having kids, and he didn't have any sense of privacy at all, and if the kids saw him having sex, no big deal.

Then he got creepy when I told him no thanks, really not interested. Wanted me to carry his kid for him, and he'd pay me off so he could raise the kid. surprised

Block!!

Keep these stories coming! With all the weirdos out there (both male and female) I expect this thread to go on forever! What about a time when a lead looked promising, then for some unknown reason, the person seemingly dropped off the face of the earth? This happened to me. We emailed eachother hot and heavy for a few days, phone numbers were exchanged (at her request) and we talked several times, sometimes for over 2 hours at a time, and then she stopped all contact with me. She remained on the site, however, and is still active. I can honestly say that I said nothing inappropriate, was never aggressive, and was nothing but polite with her. We shared a lot of laughs and agreed on most everything. To this day, I haven't the foggiest idea what happened.noway I sent the last email, but it was read and not responded to. I had told her that I hoped she felt better because she said she wasn't feeling well. I never emailed her again, because I am not one to beg, plead, or grovel. All I know is that I have a clear conscience in the matter.
