Heartfelt... Right on... Intelligence and maturity... Those, to me, are that traits that can lead two people to happiness, regardless of the age of each. Both of those traits are not dependent on age, but rather, mental ability... With them, add love to the mix, and you truly can create that happiness... For me... 10 years... with those traits... not a problem...

No I wouldnt though when I was younger I dated women twice my age, one of them was eaven older then that. Well I gues I didnt actually date them. Anyhow no, I think I'm more attracted to older womne or women my age just with a higher sence of maturity.

no offense, but my experience has been males mature emotionally MUCH slower than females so at my age of 41, emotional maturity would be a big issue for me that being said, IF someone was emotionally mature and otherwise compatible with me and AT least 30(my eldest child is 18 and thats the smallest age difference I would want him having to deal with), biological age would not be an issue

Go and enjoy yourself, age is not a problem and love is measured in many ways, but first you have enjoy each other company and the rest come later. I have no problems with age

Have before but probably not again...that was my second marriage and the one that broke my heart the worst so I'm a little gun shy about them young ones now! Not saying I wouldn't date one, but would think long and hard before falling for anyone that much younger again! I "try" to learn from my mistakes!

There are many age-gap relationships that have are & will exist, and Good for Them! Just 1 of the top of my head, 8 years difference, 3 kids and celebrated their 21st anniversary last weekend ~Stevie

Would I date a twelve year old??? I don't think so haha! But I understand your case... I don't think it's an issue at all. Most men find it exciting being with a more mature or... experienced woman. As long as you're both legal, go for it.

Anyway, would you date someone 10 years younger then you are? 10 years up or down is really my limit. But, that's just my personal preference.

11 yrs younger!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah. But she is quite mature yet still has all the spark and sassy. I would say "Hell No" to 11 yrs older than me though.

my BF is almost 20 years younger than me...has its ups and downs..lately more downs...the age difference is more of a problem for him, his family and his friends and he is letting it affect our relationship, thats where emotional maturity/inmaturity can really be felt...so Im begining to wonder if it was such a good idea to begin with.

my BF is almost 20 years younger than me...has its ups and downs..lately more downs...the age difference is more of a problem for him, his family and his friends and he is letting it affect our relationship, thats where emotional maturity/inmaturity can really be felt...so Im begining to wonder if it was such a good idea to begin with. I briefly dated someone who was about 14 years younger than me. The difference was just too much. Mainly because he didn't get any of my movie/TV references. Sorry it's not going well right now.
