At least with cubes you can have some fun by putting plastic bugs in the cubes.
Crushed imparts cold much faster though. Shaved, just a fad. Hawaiian Shaved Ice? Not a fad! If the ice ain't shaved it is just a snow cone! Now to make a proper daiquiri you must have just enough ice so when you blend it it can hold a large metal ladle up by its handle in the pitcher!
