I've got a few places I go, and most of them involve long walks. Today I went to a park near a cemetery, just sat and wrote for 3 hours. It was really really hot outside but I got 16 pages done.

 when I was young I had an "S" shaped trunk-limb of an old Sycamore Tree that bowed out and over a creek by my house now - often as not, my bed where I will lay and contemplate (see, not lazy! I'm thinking)!!

Anywhere with my ipod... Music is my sanity and my sanctuary! No matter what is going on in my life 30 minutes with my headphones and Im content and clear headed again :)

clear your mind, or untagle your thoughts? Do you have a special thinking spot? Anywhere at any time. Most people have the impression of me of someone who doesn't pay attention and careless. That's not the case. I'm just somewhere else, I'm only physically present, my mind is somewhere else. Things, that other consider important or focus on are a waste of time and unimportant to me. And in reality those things are really a waste of time and unimportant. So my mind is somewhere else. |

And his carin' ...He puts his life ... Into beauty sharin' ...  And his children ... Are his flowers ...  There to give us peace ... In quiet hours ... I either go for a run with my ipod or I go out to the hiking trails at Lewis and Clark Lake.

I go to the beach.
Climb an empty dune. Hide in the sand and watch the water. The eagles, and seals. The sky. I recognize my insignificance. Then I go on. |

It use to be my bed. But since I got my dog, it is with him, my iPod and us down at Lake Ontario.
