I go to the beach.
Climb an empty dune.
Hide in the sand and watch the water.
The eagles, and seals.
The sky.
I recognize my insignificance.
Then I go on.
where do you live Soulfie (I didn't want to scare u by perving ur profile to find outlaugh )

I also love the ocean, and haved shared that sense of oneness with time & space, yet insignificance while standing in the sea, empty , but for me.

I usually go to Maine where there are more rocks than dunes

or to New Jersy where the dunes in Avalon are actually protected as a state park. I have watched for nearly 40 years (OMG yes, I am that old!!)as the dunes have restored them selves to original dune scrub habitat. It's a long and hot walk to the beach - as the scrub blocks the breezes, but it's also an excellent example of restored ecology still in progress

I thought the dunes were protected. They are over here, and everywhere else I've been, but I've only been on the east coast, so other places may be different I suppose.

The ocean and beach is my sancturary. If I could find free parking around here, it be even better. lol

I tend to roll out the old Harley. I find that the drone of the pipes makes the sounds of the world disappear. It's just me, the road, the scenery and the air whipping across my face. I usually come back feeling relaxed.

I live on the Oregon coast hun, thanks for asking :-)

And if you perv your own sex (or what you have
designated as your own) it does not show up as
having been visited. :-)

The dunes are free to roam here. Some
people sleep out there.
Bonfires are allowed if they are 70'
from any structures, and there is always
ample driftwood for them.

Where do I go?

I always think better when I have less pressure to deal with.

I go to sleep that always helps. Until morning. I just hate trying to "deal" if you know what i mean. But we all have to.

Yep, well stated..

I do the same only it's with rocks, mountains, cougars, mountain sheep, and a river...different nature environment, same outcome.
Your way sounds so very cool! Much is insignificant during those bouts of nature indeed...
