When a company has a right to donate to whichever candidates they wish, people have the right to boycott if they wish. It's as simple as that. It's pretty silly to think that everyone should agree with who the company chooses to support. And of course it's going to offend some people. If you don't have an issue with it, continue shopping as usual. Easy enough, right? So, once more you come down on the side of RESTRICTIONS on FREE SPEECH and 'SPECIAL RIGHTS' instead of EQUAL rights ... I quit being surprised by this some time ago. |

Easy enough, right? ok, when you donate any money, to anything, i want you to donate to the party i say to donate to, an equal amount. its fine, if that was what you want you should be able to express it in a forum or with your pocketbook,,, no, i'm just demanding it... you can demand all ya want, without authority its pretty useless but if ya wanted to, you could threaten not to talk to those who dont think like you do just as these folks are threatening not to spend money with those who dont vote as they do |

Some could only wish.
Anyway, to support anti gay politics is to show prejudice and discrimination. So if Target supports those who are anti gay they are supporting prejudice and should be boycotted or whatever it takes to get the point across. If gays choose to go the diplomatic way and get Target to agree to support the pro people side of politics then that is good too. |

The issue is that the gays want more than just rights, they want laws specifically changed in THEIR favor.
Target has the right to do whatever it damn well pleases, and the gays have the right to go sukc each other off in the parking lot!! |

If I had it my way...The gays would be my target

IM with sing on this,, totally missing whose rights are being violated the 'gays' are using their right to spend money where they wish,,just as TARGET is using their right to donate where they wish if the 'gays' choose not to do business with Target, for whatever reason, how is that violating any of Targets rights? |

Actually, it seems as you're the one who doesn't like it when a group you disagree with has the freedom to do something you don't like. What rights are being violated by boycotting Target? |
