I agree OP, love can be given by someone regardless of whether or not you earned it. Love is a present you can give openly and expect nothing in return. Good point. A mother is pregnant with a child for nine months. Did the child earn the mother's love? Have you ever seen the look of a mother toward her child while she is nursing it and the child looking back at its mother? Did the mother earn the child's love? Did the mother love the child even before it was born? Did the child love the mother before it was born? It doesn't always happen this way for some mothers and their children but for some it does.
