I would prefer a one room cabin with no electricity no running water a wood stove for cooking and heating and oil lamps for light.

I like what a city has to offer, and yet I can't thrive there for very long. So I am a bit of both.

Grew up in the city but I prefer living in the country. I wouldn't want to go back to the city.

I like being near the stores and other public places if I needed to get to them, however, I can't handle being in those areas to long it stresses me out to much, I was brought up in the country, so I am 99% country.

Country, 34 acre hobby farm. Horses, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys etc. All pets and 90% you can walk up to and pet even out in the back pasture.
Did 4 yrs in the city, no way in Hel I will do it again. I'm 15 minutes from my town and 35 from Dallas and its still to close. Country not redneck. |

I love the country. I live out in farm land right now and while I was raised on a working farm, I don't want to do that again....But a farmhouse and a small bunch of animal units is nice.....There are so many of the small farms for sale in Michigan. I may stay where I am or retire in one of the small farms.
Did the large cities and just not my thing. Too crazy. |

not many city folk drive a mile up a mountain on a dirt road to get here...all my neighbors have fur but I got air conditioning and internet....I'd say I'm country but I gots me a concrete step out back

City. I like to be surrouded by concrete without any greenery for miles, and breathe in air that tastes of batteries. I like the challenge of walking outside of my door at night without being mugged or shot. I love the way that if you leave anything unlocked or turn your back something for just a minute, it gets stolen. I love the way everything is so expensive. Spending two hours wages on a round of drinks is always a pleasure. Yeah, the city is the place to be.

I tried the city, didn't like it. I love the rural areas and wide open spaces. Oddly enough, I'm not a redneck. Contrary to some folks belief you don't have to be a redneck to love the country! I was raised on the farm and still love the country but I am not a redneck nor will I date one! LOL |
