Topic: When do you quit? | |

I just do my thing. I am who I am. I've been told to read between the lines a few times when they were holding up 3 fingers

Sometimes you give it all you got even though some folks wish you would stop... Can you read between the lines? Well, if she says, "Stop following me a-hole", then I usually can tell that that is a "Bad sign" |

Sometimes you give it all you got even though some folks wish you would stop... Can you read between the lines? My thoughts.... 1. nothing wrong with giving it your all - as long as it is giving all of your feelings, not stalking them or harassing them... 2. if they tell you directly "it's over" or "I just dont feel that way" - have enough respect for them and go away... 3. if you think you are reading between the lines and they don't want you -- get some self esteem, then ask them directly (but be prepared for #2 to be the answer)... 4. if the cops show up! LOL!!! Seriously, stop beeing needy and passive aggressive... be yourself, be honest and direct... and take the answers they give you. Respect them enough to leave them alone no matter how bad it hurts - it's the mature thing to do. $.02 |

Lines can be tainted with shades of grey......sometimes what you think is true.......may not be so....like guilt by association.....just because you know someone or are seen with someone......doesn't necessarily mean anything..........

Reminds me of my daddy's words ..
"Life is hard. Then you die." |

my imagination is just way too big for reading between the lines and then actually giving any creedance to the story.
its just fiction that I've imagined Men think very differently than women and the story line between the two need to be openly talked out ... probably more than once for these thick male heads to get around the concise meanings of those female story lines. Its not when do you quit as much as what do you do with all that time on your hands that she doesn't want to be involved in. if it gets to where she doesn't involve herself in enough of your time to satisfy you ... then find someone else that will. [you can tell her that that is happening but only once] |

Reminds me of my daddy's words .. "Life is hard. Then you die." I saw one yesterday I liked... "Of course life is hard...it kills you!" |

Sometimes you give it all you got even though some folks wish you would stop... Can you read between the lines? Personally I prefer NOT to read between the lines but to get it all out in the open! Reading between the lines just opens yourself up to misunderstanding and miscommunication. If they can't be open and honest and spell it out, then I have no use for them anyway. |

when someone abandons you, regularly mistreats you, or runs around on you
well, thats when I call it quits anyhow |

I'm all for being blunt if you have to be but sometimes you love someone and don't want to hurt them with brutal honesty, but you can tell there is some things going unsaid.
That's when you have to read between the lines in order to see the truth that they can't reveal. You might be right or wrong but about what you see there but usually your instincts are correct. |

People choose to see what they want especially when u like someone.... it's hard to read between the lines unless they are glaringly obvious.
