We have different beliefs,views,and traditional values which we acquired,heard or learned from people before us.Yes, virginity still matters to me because there are more than few of the possible reasons of why it is applicable in the society of where I live today. Men when divirginized is just natural because they are simply Men. And for the woman, it is not just as that simple as of men.Give your next posts to this topic :)

It really doesn't make any difference to me. I've been married, and I've had some live-ins, and I haven't been a virgin for a long time, so how can I reasonably have such an expectation of someone else?

as a choice, yes, virginity is still the ideal 'state' to remain in sexually until someone meets their life mate,,in my opinion
I wasnt as strong about that value when I was younger though, so that opportunity has passed for me and now I would prefer someone with 'similar' life experience(meaning children) which would require that they arent a virgin. |

It doesn't to me, but since your culture based on staying virgin as long until married, I think that's great, I admire people who have the strength to achieve that in this crazy world.

Assuming that virginity is only about intercourse, then it is a virtue for the young and should be admired when they make that choice.
but since sex is about so many different experiences, you can have virgin experiences throughout your sexual life. Like Samantha says from SATC "I am a Try-Sexual...I will try anything once." |

I dont care if a guy i date is a virgin or not, and i hope he dont care if i am or not.. (seeing how i got a kid and all..) but i do beleive in relationship virginity.... that means not sleeping with someone as soon as you start to date.. but keeping the union seperate until both ppl are ready and know its the right thing to do.. plus you get to know a person alot better that way.
