I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and was there most of the time, till 89. I went thru one big one I remember, when the hospital in Sylmar collapsed, then there was another big one there, after I moved to Northern California. I don't miss em at all.

sometime back, I wondered why we had no tremors for awhile, it made me nervous. LOL, now we have had a few around southern Cali, and it makes me less nervous, in a way. I`m used to them, having lived in this region all my life. But, now I`m a bit further from my family, and on my own if a major quake happens. NOT a fun thought.

5.9 isn't a baby quake at all but it was pretty far away from us. I work in a much smaller building than Joy I'm thinking she just didn't feel is as much.

5.9 isn't a baby quake at all but it was pretty far away from us. I work in a much smaller building than Joy I'm thinking she just didn't feel is as much. We have rumbles here all the time, just never feel them. When we get the 'big' one, we'll all feel it. |
