Checked ebay, and they range from 100 to about 700, most being around the 200 to 300 range. Think i'll try buying bottles for a while bigsmile

Mine was 300 bucks and it gives me 1 1/2 gallons every 6 hours. I'm constantly using it..keep the ice cube trays filled up with it. I love it.

I admit it, I am a label whore... although, I like to get a good deal!!

I find that, with many things (labels or not) there is the cheapest, the most expensive, and the best value "level"... I try to find the best value...

I mean, Johnson and Johnson baby powder is better than the "store" brand!!!

(ack, too much info!!)...

$.02 drinker

Marlboro; Pepsi; Ben & Jerry's; Stouffers; Dolce & Gabanna; clothes & shoes - whatever looks good and is comfortable (and inexpensive). Duncan Hines when I bake and everything else is "Great Value" brand from Wal-Mart. Not too much of a stickler for name brands...just a few of my favorite things.

'Brand names' are for tools ...

I've been relaxing on that also. I've got quite a few chinese tools now, like my ball joint press. It seems to do the job, one time so far anyway bigsmile

Ummm ... wrong interpretation for 'tool' ...

I don't know, I've never had one of the Snap-On or MAC tools out in the shop bust, but I've replaced several adjustable locking pliers and screwdrivers that had "made in china" stamped on them.

I guess if the label is "made in USA" I prefer that on tools as well.

Do you only smoke marlburo ? Drink Folgers, or only drink a particular beer, or only drive Corvette's, or old Dodges ?
Can you not live without your designer cloths ?
Or do you just go for what works most of the time.
Do you only use one kind of bath soap ? How bout insense ? paper towell's ? Toilet paper ? I like Scott nyself, just seems to go further. I usually go for what works mostly. I am fond of Justin Work Boots. I buy whatever coffee is cheapest, always. I never buy white bread. I buy my jeans and tee shirts at the thrift store, no designer clothes in my closet. Im just not that picky anymore I guess. Oh, I use to only use Zippo lighters. Was that way for years. Now I just buy whatever lites. What are you real picky about ? bigsmile

i dont drink coffee, nor do i smoke i quit that over 16yrs ago
i dont drive but if i had a car, i would take a old mustang
bathsoap? ivory or what is the cheapest
insense i dont always use it but i have it around great for meditation
paper towels. off brand
toilet paper store brand unless its cheaper the other way
i prefer to buy my pants at thrift stores or the goodwill bins

what im picky about..humm
i love rocky road ice cream and i tried the safeway brand... omg that was gross. i ended up giving it to my neighbor

I'm usually on the lookout for items not made in China.

They are usually more expensive and higher quality too.

I have a phone made in Romania, pants made in the Middle-East (forgot which country) , A car built in Germany, 2 leather jackets made in USA, tools made in Sweden, kitchen knives made in Germany, chainsaw made in Canada, shirts made in India.

They are all higher quality than stuff- regardless of brand name- made in China.

I treat everything made in China as same quality, regardless if it's Nike or Ralph Lauren or whatever.

The only brand thing I do is Levis...they just fit better, but I don't get them unless they're on sale, and if I can find them in thrift store, even better.

I have to shop with the best purchase for money in mind, so mostly it's generic, unless the current sale is a better deal, but generics, even though cheaper, are not always the best deal in the long run. I'll try an item once and if it lives up to my expectations, then I stick with it, otherwise buy that item on sale and stock up.

I don't do fragrances.

I'm not a clothes whore. Jeans and cut-offs are my mainstay. Mostly wear flip-flops in the summer, and sneakers, whatever I find on sale and I like, in the winter.

I rarely wear make-up 'cause I work at home and Buttercup likes me with or without it  , but I use a combination of brands when I do wear it.

I don't own a cell. I have a home phone. No I-Pod or any of the new fangled electronics.

I always buy my jeans and tee shirts in thrift stores. I can't stand breaking in new stuff. Wish I could find good used Justin work boots at will. Got lucky the last time, but they were only wore once, so I still had to break the suckers in darnit.
I do have a cell phone, but just a tracfone. I get 50 minutes a month, and now in up to over 400 minutes. lol
I do have an MP3 I use on the trike, but thats as high tech as it gets, except for the fact that in a ham radio operator, so I have quite a bit of that stuff. I always buy that stuff used also.

Nothing really brand name.....except the mayo has to be Hellmann's/Best Foods and the peanut butter has to be Skippy.

Soda - It has to be Pepsi. The knock-offs say they taste the same, but they don't at all.

Cigarettes - Marlboro or Camel. Cheaper brands give me a headache.

Shoes - Name brand. I just think they look better are more stylish and just fit better.

T-shirts - Whatever I find that's funny. Mostly thrift store finds, but some funny flea market stuff.

Jeans - As long as they are wide legged relaxed fit. I hate wearing jeans that taper at the bottom making you feel like your in the 80's. I also hate tight jeans because I'm not a fan of flaunting my package. plus he's got to breathe.

Boxers - Hanes makes the best. That I have found.

Razors - I only use electric and have found that Remington makes the best, but for a nice rechargeable with plenty of add-ons for shaping Con-air makes a nice one.

Food - I'm not a huge fan of off brand foods. I prefer organic as much as possible without all the preservatives.
