What kind of things do you sacrifice to have other things in your life? For instance, I pay a ridiculous car payment so that I can have a fast car, and I gave up lunch so my son could go to after school science classes. What things do you give up in favor of other, more important, things?

I'm selling that pretty soon though. I sacrifice long-term health for instant gratification whenever I drink pop. I, honestly, don't have to sacrifice much of importance. |

The only thing I can think of is vacations... I'm not willing to sacrifice any of my daily/monthly wants/needs so in the long run it's the exotic vacations I only get to go on every few years..

If it was for my kids I would sacrifice my life. I have sacrificed many things for my kids in the past and would do it again if I needed too.
Now they are grown I have learned to do watch what I spend in order to go do things I have never been able too.... Just cutting back on my Dr.Peppers saves me approx $40 a month each little thing I have changed has enabled for me to put back money to save for a few trips....
