Be Inspired

As we get older we sometimes begin to doubt our ability to "make a difference" in the world. It is at these times that our hopes are boosted by the remarkable achievements of "seniors" who have found the courage to take on challenges that would make many of us wither. Harold Schlumberg is such a person:

I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired?' Well...I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background and one of the things I enjoy most is converting beer, wine and whisky into urine. I do it every day and I really enjoy it.

Inspiration is one of my favorite words...

It is astonishing what we are capable of as we get older. We learn
how to motivate ourselves and motivate others and how to organize
complex activities and keep track of multiple endeavors.

As we mature we learn how to think clearly and effectively and how
to find the most direct and effective solutions to complex problems.

We can make dramatic things happen with a few messages and a little
sweat. I feel more powerful today in many ways than I did when I was
in my 20s. I can cause a lot of trouble in very short period of time.



But I view it as a source of wicked inspiration for others...
