Will you be remembered by anyone when you pass? What have you accomplished in your life to remain a legend, immortal if you will? Will it have a large impact on humanity, or a smaller less noticeable impact?

Impact humanity? Probably not. Those I know and love? Immensely. I'm the mama bear of my tribe (figuratively speaking of course) My friends and family all come to me with their woes and if I can not help them fix it I will console them anyway I can. I don't sugar coat things, they come to me because they know I will be straight up and logical... usually presenting a different perspective to ponder with out trying to tell them what to do.

try as i may, i can not remove the traces that i have left in my passing.

i'm sure someone will remember me.

Maybe in a conversation, my name will come up and someone will say, yea, whatever happened to her? Leaving a mark, maybe of the millions of words that have come out of my mouth through the years, someone listened to something and somehow, made a small difference. I do give people love who have none, and it is appreciated.

If I raise him right, my son will carry on my memory and leave a similar impression on his own children. I don't know if he'll have much of an impression on humanity as a whole...

Impacting Humaity I hope I am accomplishing that while I am roaming on Earth, as for my passing... My insight and love will be missed ( I hope) yet carried through my children and grandbabies

One can hope that those you have known and loved, that you in some way have brightened their world, if but temporarily, and that they will remember you fondly.

Reality? No...I doubt anyone will remember me after I'm gone.

I'm quite sure I'll not die a legend, except to those who know and love me, I think,feel we all make an impact on humanity. We're all connected in a never ending 'circle of life' so all of our acts, thoughts and deeds affect each other. There is a ripple affect and when our actions are that of love, forgiveness and kindness we are affecting humanity.

I'm a legend in my own mind........I do things to impact those around me frequently.......do they notice or know......I do not know.....I need no recognition for what I do or do not do in this life...

I'm having a dance floor installed over my grave, specifically because I believe people will remember me. Might just make the headstone a urinal, save time for folks.

Possibly...although will have to wait until then.

Immortality?....hmmmm...in the most diluted sense, I have sent forth the gene pool of my ancestors into 4 incredible, amazing people...two sons, two daughters....so through them, I will live on, in essence.


I suspect those same four amazing individuals will impact on humanity...their values and ethics will move them forward into a positive influence within the human and hopefully ecological societies....I raised them with the knowledge of what they inherit, and how they can effect change...I raised them with the mindset (mine and to a lesser degree theirs), they are the future leaders/guardians/patriarchs and matriarchs....

If my footstep is light...there is no greater impact I can have.
If my impact is "light"....even better.

Will "I" be remembered for it? Who cares?

My expect my death will mirror my life; both as inconsequential as adding one more raindrop to a deafening downpour. Like a lone leaf blowing at the mercy of the wind, I will fade away with perhaps a passing glance from strangers or those whose lives I've touched, although none will stop in awe over such a simple miracle.
