I don't think that is always the case. I have a couple of very close male friends. Haven't gotten a lustful glance from either one of them, but they love me nevertheless. Friends...in the truest sense of the word...and very grateful and honored to have them as such.

I have a few guys that I can say we are best friends and I don't THINK they are having thoughts like that!! Do women have men friends without wanting more? I guess they could reverse the question on you!!

No I don’t think all men I have got female friend and I don’t think of them in that way. Now some of them I would not run away if they give me a clue but I just don’t think about it. Because they are just friends.

Lets see,,,I have had many female friends through my life,,and not all were lovers..many were and remain just a friend,,NOW,,,as to the FULL REASONS for SOME,,were because life had US BOTH playing out all that WE WERE, then as to being married or both being married? But,,I did have a friend ask me once,,HAVE YOU EVER HAD A LADY FRIEND WHO YOU DIDN'T SLEEP WITH? Well,,,that was a very hard question,,as I NEVER ever thought about THAT? So I recalled one or two,,but most of the rest were,,well,lovers. BUT,,I also never had at one time,,very many female friends,,just the one who I was with,,MATE,,,so if in between THEM,,I met a lady to have as a friend,,it was because WE were attracted to each other as lovers to be,,or intiment NOT just as a friend,,so as to go on with our friendships,,we would become intiment, and lose that JUST friend idea.. HERES my real thoughts,,IF two people male and female ARE FRIENDS,,and BOTH find the other one cute, sexy, and someone nice to talk to,,,THEN If when BOTH become single through life and living,,THEN I believe that THEY HAVE a great chance TO become MORE LOVERS to each other,,--through that friendship,,than just staying friends,,,because of their inner thoughts of each other,, and THEM SHARING TIME WITH EACH OTHER ALONE... THATS my take,,,but MANY CAN stay just a FRIEND,,but I think to be REAL with THAT,,,its MORE because ONE doesn't SEE THE OTHER as someone who they would WANT TO GO TO BED WITH. THEN,,,sure,,THEY will remain just friends,,,  ITS THAT ANIMAL IN US ALL...

I will say just about every guy I have supposed to be friends with has......
either told me they had a big "crush" on me tried to make a pass at me at some point or tried to act physical at one point with the exception of one or two...at least so far they haven't now whether they eventually will or not remains to be seen.....but I thought it an interesting theory nonetheless.... |

Id say it depends on your looks, If you really are stunning it would be hard not to think of sex, thats how we are programmed you can take advantage of it now that you know :)
