Shocker.........I grew up with a guy always thinking of him as a brother......tells me has been in love with me all this time and getting to hard to continue to be my friend because of it.....32 years of friendship....the ball is in my court.....wondering if I should let the dynamics of the relationship change.....either way it looks like I could lose the friendship......am sad at the possibility of losing the friendship.........but not sure if I can change the dynamics within myself or not........is it worth a shot?

1- If the dynamics of the relationship is changeable, and it doesn't work out possibly lose the friendship......

2- If I do not try to change the dynamics of the relationship, I lose the friendship.....

32 years of friendship to lose here......

Geesh how confusing can life get????

Might as well, it is a lose-lose situation but you might end up getting a really good relationship out of it. Either way, it sounds like the friendship will be a loss if you do not go for a deeper relationship.

You're losing the friendship anyway, if you are attracted to him in the slightest you might as well try for a relationship and see how it goes.

that's a good question... I've had lady friends, and there is always an urge (for me anyway), even if i don't act on it... it's a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't thing. when i didn't act on, they did and when i said no, we were no longer friends. when i said yes, there was nothing but the sex after that, and again , no longer friends... so, to answer your question, yes, there is always an underlying sex thoughts when we are friends. it's all about control.

nope............we all want sex.

LOL seems everyone has a different opinion, I see.....interesting....

No...they are lying. I am being honest.

These other shmoes are just telling you what you want to hear in order to lure you in so they can "make thier move" on you.

I am being completely honest and do I get any booty time with you??

HELL NO!!!

(so much for all those bull s**t threads about how women want an honest man.)

This is what guys tell me ALL THE TIME. I tend to disagree because I have strictly platonic male friends, but I can't just dismiss the amount of times I've heard a guy tell me this.
Now U MIGHT be an exception!!drool flowers

I think it totally depends on the people involved. I have always had more male friends than female friends. And sure...there are a couple that are hot enough that I am attracted to them. But I am one of those people that cannot have sex with someone unless my heart is involved and I know they don't want a relationship so...I leave it as friends. Better for all involved!
