My last ex got a picture of my dog laser engraved on a 14K gold heart for me for one of my birthdays. Before I get alot of grief from everyone about "it's just a dog"....I can't have children so she is my "fur baby" and honestly if you were to ask me what I will do when she dies, I will instantly tear up and refuse to talk about it. So....
 It was the best present anyone has ever or could ever give me.

I've never been given material gifts; all of the gifts I've received have been intangible. I'm also excluding going out, meals, vacations, etc.
The greatest gift I can think of is the ability to learn and move one without bitterness - to be happy for someone else even though it may not be with me. That being said, what does it take to get a diamond ring??
