Hell if that is all I wanted when I was sick I would hope a brother would be there.............

Well, I wouldn't second-guess a sick friend. Of course I would bring them a 6 pack on request. Maybe it is a..rural cure of sorts. Or, motivation to get well. Target practice?

I would have been there with atleast a couple cases back in the day , but I've decided to change, and the people I was hanging out with weren't going to change, so I just went off and am doing my own thing now. It's going on two years and I'm still not sure about it. But, I am saving lots of money by staying out of jail and court and all that.

I think it's commendable you made that decision if you realized you had no control when it comes to alcohol. Half the lessons in life are all about balance. Drinking is just one of those areas where you have to use common sense. If you can't drink responsibly then don't at all. For those of us who can it's a good reminder to not engage those who can't have balance.

Get a 12 pack. Knock back a couple. He will drink the rest then sleep away the rest of the day. It is a drinking holiday after all.

It would depend on what he/she is sick with and what medication he/she was taking... If it wouldn't hurt them then of course I'd bring them beer...
