We were talking-about the space between us all

And the people-who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion

Never glimpse the truth-then it's far too late-when they pass away.

We were talking-about the love we all could share-when we find it

To try our best to hold it there-with our love

With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.

Try to realize it's all within yourself

No-one else can make you change

And to see you're really only very small,

And life flows ON within you and without you.

We were talking-about the love that's gone so cold and the people,

Who gain the world and lose their soul-

They don't know-they can't see-are you one of them?

When you've seen beyond yourself-then you may find, peace of mind,

Is waiting there-

And the time will come when you see

We're all one, and life flows on within you and without you.

Hehehee ... Ummm, Errrr ... Sawwy ... P_P

... Think I got a lil excitedly carried away in your Stellar Museum!

I blame my nocturnal circadian rhythm ...

My emoticon fast ...

And ... My all around, well documented, flaming penchant for EXCESS ... ;-p

Accountable ...

Guilty as charged ... See what happens when ya forget to hire a night security watch ...

Get it ... 'watch' ... *thud*

... Still, I had GREAT fun here tonight, tawkin' to myself ...

Admittedly, P Floyd, Kurt, The Fab Four, Vonnegut and assorted other of the Asylum corridor's ghosts did keep me company...

Sidebar: Didya ever notice how P_P is a wee lil face ... ... 8O ... Streuth!!!

Back to Life ... Back to "Reality" ... ? ... Or lack thereof ...

"

He shook his head and fell back in the booth. After two or three minutes of silence, he looked up. "What the hell are we heading for, Kemp? I'm really beginning to think we're all doomed." He scratched his face nervously and lowered his voice. "I'm Serious," he said. "We keep getting drunk and these terrible things keep happening and each one is worse than the last..." He waved his hand in a gesture of hopelessness. "Hell, it's no fun anymore - our luck's all running out at the same time."

When we got back to the office I thought about what he'd said and I began to think that Sala might be right. He talked about luck and fate and numbers coming up, yet he never ventured a nickel at the casinos because he knew the house had all the percentages. And beneath his pessimism, his bleak conviction that all the machinery was rigged against him, at the bottom of his soul was a faith that he was going to outwit it, that by carefully watching the signs he was going to know when to doge and be spared. It was a fatalism with a loophole, and all you had to do to make it work was never miss a sign. Survival by coordination, as it were. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but to those who can see it coming and jump aside. Like a frog evading a shillelagh in a midnight marsh.

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!”

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

“And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”
He chortled in his joy.

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
