Do they scare you? I live in the heart of "Tornado Ally" We get storms with lots of threat of danger, but live with it as I'm sure you do. So do you get used to it or is it always scarry as h*ll?

we just had a storm here in illinois tonight. well i`m not from illionois, i`m just here with my girlfriend koury for two weeks

In so cal the worst we get is earthquakesssss.... the last big one we had was like a 7.1 or something and I stood inline at the self check out at the grocery store irritated that I had to wait until the quake was over to finish checking out

We just had one last night. Large hail, and a tornado went right past my town. I've never actually been hit by a tornado, but I've seen a few huge ones pass by. They are awesome to look at.

terrified. I was in a typhoon in the Philippines when I was young, plus the Wizard of Oz didn't help either I'm in tornado alley too

And the storms here may last maybe a couple hours if we are lucky. I realy wish to move up near Eureka where it rains constantly in the winter months. I was raised in Michigan where storms were STORMS!!!!!!!!!!! Have been away from there for 25 years now. And the main thing I miss abot Michigan, is the storms.

Seen a few funnel clouds when I lived out West, big beautiful thunder storms too .

I actually am terrified of tornados. earthquakes, and heights lol, but storms lightening, hurricanes, not really. It,s thecrap with minimal warnings and things that form out of no where that scares the crap out of me.

Love rain storms, feels as though it washes away the stress and the b.s. of life. Not a fan of hurricanes and the destruction they bring.

Rain storms or lightening storms I like to watch but not into the Tornado's the one that hit downtown Fort Worth almost 10 years ago was close enough for me went right over where I live and touched down so that is as close to those I want to be......
