So, what's been meaningful for you, lately? My perspective has shifted so drastically over a period of years that there is very little that is not meaningful for me... |

T, I too have learned to appreciate the same things as you. I never regret anything, but I do have to say, losing good friends along the way, just sucks. But it all has to ne sucked up as a lesson learned right? Well Honey...if they are meant to remain in our lives, they will remain. Sometimes they're meant to be here for just a short time & it's up to us to determine whether or not they made an impact. But the best part about the future is that it will always be a surprise...& sometimes...when you least expect it...your heart's desire will come to you...& the pain of the past disolves & washes away...& if we're very lucky...what remains from the past is a pleasant memory & a warm spot in our heart. |

Laughter, because the aliens haven't figured out how to get through my tin foil armor yet. are ya sure? maybe their doing weird things to you and taking your memory away...just sayin As long as I remember to laugh and not take life too seriously it's all good. |

That's a fact, and if the aliens are doing weird sexual things to you, or sucking your brain out and you have no memory of it, what's the harm..right? Just keep smiling..

Well if they are at least I'm getting some, even if I don't remember it. Hell I don't remember the last time I got some anyway. And the bastids can't suck out what's not there. |

For the last couple of years, I've set aside this day to reflect upon what is truly meangful to me. This year it's been: Love Loyalty Laughter & Learning Life's Lessons... It's tough to learn a hard lesson at times... But eventually, the reason comes to light & you realize that the Universe does indeed provide...sometimes just enough...& sometimes in abundance... Anger only imprisons us & hurts only us...and only by shedding those chains can love enter our hearts again... 
So, what's been meaningful for you, lately? Just that...  and friends help.

But in honesty to the poster, I always take my birthday and reflect and set goals. Spend it in the mountains, where I can hear God clearly. Sweeeeeeeeeet. |

I want to be in that place so badly..... so far I feel like for my set of obsticals... I let the strength leave me before I come out on the other side of that journey through the pain...It's hard when your not waiting to be able to forgive someone else but instead find a way to forgive yourself.....I have wasted years and though I try... have not found a way to do that yet .... so much easier said than done...But I do have so much to be thankful for... my struggle is with whether or not I deserve it....and uncovering the person within me that I know does.... seems so far away sometimes ....what's meaningful to me is finding me |

it means to me, that.... with all that rolls like a runaway freighter through choppy seas, and tattered, ragged skies, and red skies at morning, that i just have to set some time to just "be"....not think, not figure out, not meditate, not focus, not save the world and it's inhabitants...and even give the quest for wisdom a rest as well.....just.......be.

Now that this year has bought me past the age of fifty....
And a new grandchild.... My life has taken a turn... What has become so meaningful to me is... Watching my children branch out into adulthood and make good lives for themselves. Really seeing them use all I have taught them to help better the world watching the elders of the family enjoying their twilight years realizing the true meaning of friends Watching a young life grow!
