Morning all.................. Hope everyone has a great weekend not sure what I will be doing as of yet...... all depends if I have Kaitlynn this weekend or not. Had her last weekend but did not know it till the last minute....

We have the Fort Bend County fair. The Greek festival is next weekend.

Sounds like fun.... I have Kaitlynn this weekend it seems. Picked her up from school today and we went to Halloween City and found her a costume. Think tomorrow we are going to go play putt putt at a course here close to the house.....

OMG don't tell me Joe has been smoking Beaver Balls and feeding them to you????????? He might have been involved in the madness. Beaver's Ice House... http://www.beavershouston.com/ Really pretty upscale and with a menu that was a bit swanky in terms of what you otherwise might expect but the chicken fried steak was interesting and delicious! The quote from the newspaper posted on their site is ""...an interesting young kitchen doing standards with a twist. It all feels very Texas, 2008." Beaver Balls... (I can't believe that didn't garner more comment and conversation. I thought it was hilarious!) They were fried brownie balls on a plate of PB powder dusted caramel with like-sized balls(perfect scoops) of really light/fresh vanilla ice cream. Yummy. How could anyone resist ordering something named THAT???

I was gifted with a trip to the Carrie Underwood concert at Toyota Center tonight. She sang for 2 solid hours, the projection was incredible and every single set was over the top picture perfect! This might rank as the best concert I've ever seen in my life, actually... And THAT'S what was going on (for me) in Houston tonight!
