12 gauge shotgun; S&W 9 mm and 40 cal Glock. Partial to all of them...there is something empowering being able to shoot accurately and know that you have the control and power it takes to master something so forceful.

I like the 12guage pump because to load it, you have to stroke the pump. To maintain a smooth stroke, good lubrication is essential.

I personally don't 'like' guns. I have been shooting hunting rifles off of sandbags since I was 5 years old. I do not have any problems with gun ownership, but I have seen handguns used in inappropriate purposes and have seen first hand what a hand gun can do when aimed point-blank at a head. So, I do not like guns, don't plan on owning a gun and prefer NOT to have guns within my home. My only exception is hunting rifles which need to be in a locked case.

I only have a .22 pistol, a 12ga single shotgun, and an air-pellet rifle. But I'd LIKE to have a 357, a 9mm, a 270, a 12ga pump, a 45-70, (I think that's what it's called. Dad just got one of those that I shot last week for the first time. FUN!), and a "Judge". That one would make a good rattle-snake gun in the badlands.
And gun ownership is kind of a neccessity if you like to target shoot, like I do. And if you think that the most natural life-style is hunter-gatherer. I'll be the hunter! |

People! Have we not evolved? There is something seriously wrong with America if people get turned on by weapons meant to cause death... just sayin.
So Please don't shoot my friend <-------------- My grandparents were avid and skilled hunters... My fascination with rifles stems from seeing about a dozen misc rifles perched on the antlers of a wall mounted moose head. For years as a kid, I wondered who would shoot such a beautiful animal to hang a few rifles on I'm a 100yrd marksman but I have never killed anything with a weapon... by choice. I got rid of all my firearms except for this Winchester... never shot it and prolly never will. Self Defense? I prefer Aikido to break and choke out the mofos |

It was fun to shoot them for a little while and sure it was fun to shoot an M16A2, M4, M203,M32, and even throwing grenades. but I learned that they are pretty dumb and the term "any idiot can shoot a gun" really drove my to dislike them after talking with my friends about all these weapons...

Yes, well, as a pacifst/hippie type almost killed now more than once ...
It is a dilemma, of that I'm certain ... Still, I would have shot them, had I a gun, as what they were doing was SO wrong it would have likely been best they were not left to EVER do it again ... That, plus the fact I barely survived ... What is one to do in such an armed society ... ???? ... Kill or be killed comes to mind, and I'm not big on being murdered or tortured again ... When I lived in England, the SWAT team had to make a final call to the Queen before unlocking their guns ... ... I so WELL appreciated a society where the Bobbies carried billy clubs in lieu of guns!!! The States are ANYTHING but that ... |
