As you ahve seen in the other posts, it depends on the person I got into a LDR and we talked every night for over 6 months and met up once a month....and now we have been living together for almost a year It is very tough, but if you find someone that is willing to go through it with you, and they are a "perfect" match for you....then I don't see why not ****however, eventually someone has to be willing to move for the other Just a bit of friendly advice, you might want to change your status from "looking for woman for dating" to something else, since you state in your profile that you're taken and don't want to be hit on. Otherwise, you're giving out mixed signals. Congrats on finding someone.

So, even with long distance would a guy (or gal) prefer to really know that someone is seriously interested in them, or is it a waste of time? I'd never consider it a waste of time to know someone is seriously interested in me. He might be seriously interested in you, too. As for the distance, I used to talk to four different guys (not at the same time)- one lived about 50 miles away, we talked for a year, eventually met, it didn't work out, another lived about 28 miles away, we talked for over a year, never met, he ended up hating me, another lived about 60 miles away, we met after talking a few days, dated for two weeks, it didn't work out, another one lived about 50 miles away, we talked for over a year, never met, one day I never heard from him again. The point of my story? All of these guys lived less than 100 miles away, none of them worked out. 100 miles isn't an LDR, so you have nothing to lose but a missed opportunity. If you're into him, tell him, he might be into you. You never know until you try.....  Excellent!!

Well, Goof says that if you really like someone from here, or you think that you would like to see if talking to someone could lead to something, then why the hell wouldn't you give it a shot. Seriously, people just get hung up on things that they never experience anything. Like my daddy always told me when I refused to try a new food, "How do you know you won't like it until you have tried it?" Sure, you might not like some new dishes, but just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean that you shouldn't keep trying. But hey, that's just me and my own opinion. Be seeing you!

think its good i met someone from nc an im in ma till this day were just good friends even though there was no spark we still have a good friendship so yes long distance can work if you both want it too.

How far away does one have to be for it to be considered a " long distance " relationship?? More than two hours drive time??? More than a three hour flight?? |

I would and I could,,,go ANYWHERE,,that I felt I had a chance for that lady to really fall in love with me...
WEEKENDS are COOL,,but THATS NOT LOVE,,,lol,so as to FIND LOVE. YES,,,I would go within the STATES,,anywhere.... AND,,I would TAKE WITH ME,,,,,MANY SMILES!!!!              MANY!!!!!!!!!!

The town I live in has less than 2000 people....the next town over has about ( so it SAYS but I am not buying it ) 700. The majority of the population around here is old *** farmers and their wives.
