Topic: Your All TIME Favourite Films!? | |

"Kids" Always going to be one of my favorite movies. It's one of the most skillfull, tortured films I've ever seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Myzec1dgSqc ... YES! ... Then you simply MUST see : Gummo and Chuck and Buck ... If ya haven't already! Hehe. Gummo is insane. The guy that wrestles the chair is actually Mark Gonzales, a friend of Harmony Korine who wrote Kids and wrote and directed Gummo. Mark Gonzales is one of the pioneers of skateboarding and most of the clips of skate videos in Kids are of him. Anyone mentioned "Synechdoche, New York" yet? That movie's pretty brilliant. Written by the same guy who wrote the screenplay for Eternal Sunshine. |

5. Dumb and Dumber - A creatively funny film about, well, stupidity. Probably one of Jim Carrey's greatest films right here.
4. Zombieland - A hilarious retreat from most zombie movies, reminds me of 'Night of the Living Dead' except not as serious. 3. Natural Born Killers - A very intriguing character development of what 90's television and media created, banned in a number of countries. 2. Requiem for a Dream - A sobering look at the drug lifestyle from a perspective not noticed in a lot of films even today, this will always be a great movie to watch. Up there with 'Donnie Darko.' 1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Because, it is that damn good. |

Fear - Check out "Spun" if you haven't seen it.
Spun trailer = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrWD1kVi0ME A lot of people have called it the Requiem of meth, but that's truly unfair and it's an awesome movie. Did you know they made a freakin' sequel to Donnie Darko? No joke. |

Yeah, haven't seen it, but I'm also not convinced that it is anywhere near what "Donnie Darko" was. |

I've been rocking my Donnie Darko shirt since high school. I still love that movie to death.
I wouldn't say it's in my top ten, but I thought "One Point O" was really, really good. You might dig it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw3V_VnRoaA |

Braveheart. (
William Wallace: And if this is your army, why does it go? Soldier: We didn't come here to fight for them. Second Soldier: Home, the English are too many. William Wallace: I see a whole army of my country men, here, in defiance of tyranny. What will you do without freedom? Will you fight? Soldier: Against that? No, we will run, and we will live. William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade all of that from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take away our lives, but they'll never take our freeeedoooomm. ) |

Mexican horror cheese:
Ladrones de tumbas(1990) aka Grave Robbers Two grave robbers and their girlfriends steal from a long dead monk. Of course the monk comes back from the dead for some gory revenge. Cementerio del terror(1985) aka Cemetery Of Terror Sort of a Mexican Evil Dead meets Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things- Group of teens dig up corpse, read an incantation from a book- bringing the corpse and the rest of the cemetery residents back to life. Trampa infernal(1990) aka Hell's Trap Group of people cross paths with a psycho Vietnam vet in the forest. Vacaciones de terror (1989) aka Vacations of Terror While on a family vacation, a little girl finds a doll possessed by a witch. Vacaciones de terror 2 (1991) aka Vacations Of Terror 2 The doll returns, but this time it turns into a lizard creature and terrorizes a big Halloween party. Starring singing-sensations Tatiana and Pedro Fernández. Dimensiones ocultas(1988) aka Don't Panic Teen receives a Ouija board for his birthday, which of course releases evil. |
