I am pretty sure it will work like the book covers except I will have to leave one side open. And the passenger side visor has a mirror in it so I am sure I will need to use the plastic canvas.

Yeah. I am trading labor. My friend did my book cover and I fixed her computer. I take her to meetings so she doesn't mind helping me. Actually, she is just starting to learn to crochet. She told me she is busier now that winter is over.

i just dont know how to follow a pattern
so i just do one of my own
i always wanted to learn how to do granny squares

I think that is what I am going to have to do with the visor. Tried the plastic canvas I got from Walmart and it wasn't wide enough. Either that or I am going to have to piece together the plastic canvas.:smile:

I would think you would have to have some kind of support for any kind of crochet visor such as plastic or balsam.

As far as men crocheting sailors have long done needleworks along with macrame or general knot tying techniques.
