as the House of Representatives gathered to debate health care reform while Tea Partiers protested outside the Capitol, word emerged that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) had been spit on by one of the demonstrators.

Cleaver released a statement confirming the incident, but some questioned his claims. Fox News personality Sean Hannity asked if there was any evidence proving that it had actually happened, and Tea Party groups offered a cash reward for proof.

Now video has emerged. Take a look and judge for yourself:

Huh.

Any proof?? Any witnesses??

I know that Andrew Breitbart is offering 20,000 dollars for anyone who can provide video evidence of the Black Caucus members being called the n word. 15 times or so the accusations say.

So far, those accusations have no proof behind them.

Makes one wonder ( if they are even remotely rational ) why, with as many people there were carrying around cell phone cameras, with so many things getting caught on video these days, not one piece of video from that particular event has yet to surface.

If you ask me it doesn't look like the guy purposely spit on him.

He was shouting kill the bill. And sometimes when people are shouting spit comes out of their mouths.

This never happened. The protester was cupping his hands to make his voice heard. Once again, another fine manufactured piece of propaganda by the Communist Left.

there probably will never be proof of everything that was yelled, and probably no proof that these people involved have a history of fabricating something this serious, therefore I dont doubt it happened.

No proof needed, eh??

It happened to a black liberal....so OF COURSE it happened.

Please. If it had been from the other side, proof would be DEMANDED or the incident would simply be dismissed.

Funny how that kind of thing is completely ignored by the media, isn't it?

Any time you have a protest you are going to have people from the other side put their people in to do things to make you look bad.I'm sure in these future tea party events you will have a half a dozen or so liberal Democrats putting their people into the crowd to do things like spit, shout racist comments, hold up racist signs, and many other things to make the tea party look bad.The Republicans do the same things when the Democrats are having a protest.

The tea party movement has been going on for quite some time now.You can get a overall picture of the party by the news stories you read about them.Spitting on people and calling people racist names does not sound like the traits of the tea party and sounds more like one crazy person or a person put there as a set up.

People will be more likely to believe the worst when they constantly see the worse out of people.

Teabagger parties are havens for racists and the theme of hatred and terroristic action is obvious at these rallies. Low intelligence and violence are emanating at these rallies which is a dangerous combination.

If there is any legitimacy to the rallies, which I have yet to see, the element they consort with is draining their credibility.

Hatred never looks intelligent or credible.

oh, come now,, what PROOF did susan smith have to give when she told who took her sons,,,,? Victims of crimes dont always have others recording the crime(even in high attendance situations), but their report is still taken seriously.

We can't mention THAT stuff.

The Libs can't play the " victim " role when THEIR OWN tactics are pointed out.

Hypocrites.

define close friends,,,lol

where is the proof of that,,, considering OBama was 8 when the events occured,, would it even be relevant to his CURRENT relationship with someone(if there is one)?
