Sorry to read that, never nice having such visitors, never mind home or not, home or car, it is a bad thing to happen but of all things, you are fine and that is some consolidation.
However, look into a volume based alarm system, you can be inside and move around, can have pets too but if the door opens or the window is broken, then it goes off (the "volume" of the habitation changes). May make you feel more at ease. |

I am glad your unharmed and safe,,,and I will Pray for you. NOW,,you realize THIS was someone you know RIGHT? Because they wouldn't have known WHAT CAR to take,,or WHAT YOUR CAR KEYS LOOKED LIKE or where they were put at? AND,, Your son's WILL???? I know many robbries that have happan to my friends,,,but NONE lost ANYONES will's?? WHY?? THey MUST NOT LIKE what you have him recieving??A gUESS?? so,,WHO KNOWS YOUR PLACE IN THE DARK,,AND WHERE YOU KEEP YOUR KEYS???BECAUSE I would be looking into them......WINK.. HOW,,,did they gain entry lastnight?? I have keyless remote entry for my car... so it would be nothing for them to figure out which car was mine. My keys were in my purse. My son's wii. It's a game system. I found out this evening that my neighbor was broken into too and his tv stolen. The maintaince guy guessed that they pushed in a screw drivers and somehow got through the deadbolt.

ok,,so its keyless,,is it a chevy?? as one with that built-in talking GPS system in it?They would KNOW where its at? On-Star,,,thats it... And HOWEVER they got in,,,SHOULD BE VISIBLE,,,and you told for sure by now?? A Dead bolt WILL NOT OPEN WITH ANY SCREWDRIVER THAT I AM AWARE,,,GOD KNOWS I have had to TRY many times on my OWN locks,,,lol as I LOCKED my keys on the inside of my home,,,lol,lol |

When the maintance guy came to change the locks, I don't think the deadbolt was set right because it took sometime for him to have the new one work properly. And regardless of the situation, at this point it doesn't matter with the what if's. |

Last night at my regular gas station, the suspect had my car up there along with my neighbor's stolen tv. He was a suspect before he was caught on tape at the gas station. Now they have more evidence and are trying to get a search warrant for his home.
They have been trying to find him since yesterday morning. Hopefully, they will find him soon, along with my car and other property that he stole! |

Just keep praying! I am becoming a nervous wreck waiting. Also, my anti-depressant medication was in my purse... So I am going on two days now without it. I will hopefully be getting more tomorrow. From the information that I was given from when my car was last seen at 2 am this morning, my front driver's wheel is messed up and is making a lot of noise. Please pray that there is no further damage to my car and it is recovered soon. Thanks everyone! |
