District 9, wasn't what I thought it was going to be but still a fairly good movie.

I loved District 9. I feel it was one of the best films from 2009.

I concur.

Hmmm ... Haven't seen it ... what ... "Sounded" so lame?

think ... Perhaps a 2nd chance is in order, then???!!!

I'll see Half Nelson tonight. Any good?

Toooo slow, and I've oodles and miles and years of street sense, so nothing new learned ...

Perhaps for some this was illuminating?

Dunno ... Bored me to tears ...

Downey was fantastic in Sherlock Holmes, whatta ya talkin'???

It was great, if a touch lacking comparing Ritchie to Ritchie ... ONLY!

Even then, only minorly lacking ...

I absolutely loved it ... flowerforyou

I enjoyed it. I didn't care about any of the messages in the film, I just loved it as a fun scifi flick.

Just saw the second installment of twilight,,, it was better than the first,,, but thats not too hard..lol

better script,, same empty acting, the werewolf had some personality, but I am still amiss at why this franchise is so popular

National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 3, Transylmania. Funny as hell, totally worth buying.

LEGION-

Ok. I never thought of Paul Bettany as an action type guy. But after this film, I say give this dude action films. He was freaking awesome as the angel Michael, and he totally has "it" to be an action star. Anyways, I actually did enjoy this film. The ending was kind of a drag, but I did like the character build up in this film. Not a bad film.

Recently I've seen

Shrek 4: Adorable and funny. Especially loved the little fat kid at the beginning laugh

She's Outta Your League: rofl I'm buying it, and quoting it. Jay Baruchel is so awkward cute and hilarious and his one buddy reminds me of a young Jason Lee. And I love that humour.

Prince of Persia: It actually reminded me of Indiana Jones, all fantastical and action and desert. Sure Jake Gyllenhaal can't do an English accent to save his life. But with his charm and Being gorgeous who would care. Ben Kingsley is always awesome, especially creepy.

Trailer Park Boys The Movie: Yes...Canadian East Coast trailer park dwellers are bizarre people laugh I laughed soooo hard when Bubbles lost it on the drunk park landlord. Too funny.

bigsmile And that's about it

Didn't watch anything new, but last night re watched the early 80's horror flick- The Silent Scream. Excellent spooky beach house location, Yvonne DeCarlo and Barbara Steele as mother and daughter- can't beat that creepiness.

The Wolfman- I rented it and watched it, and it was an okay flick. Couple of moments that make you jump. Since I watched the unrated version, there was more gore. But still, considering this film does have Hopkins and Del Toro in it, you would expect more from there performances. Glad I waited for this to hit DVD and Blu Ray.

Lake Mungo '08- A very effective Aussie mystery/ghost story. And surprise surprise Hollywood is remaking it.

Oh yeah, also recently watched George Romero's Survival of the Dead- huge huge disappointment, I'm actually one of the defenders of his previous Diary of the Dead, and Land of the Dead, but this one was just a let down....Sadly Romero who once said he would never use CGI is now using CGI more and more, and the CGI in Survival was awful to the point of distracting.

I actually quite enjoyed Land of The Dead.

Land gets a lot of bashing from some Romero fans, but I loved the whole science fiction feel to it, and the characters are great. And any time I get to see Asia Argento kick butt- I'm all for it!
