Girl Scouts Distribute Planned Parenthood Sex Guide at UN Meeting

(NEW YORK – C-FAM) The World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides hosted a no-adults-welcome panel at the United Nations this week where Planned Parenthood was allowed to distribute a brochure entitled “Healthy, Happy and Hot.” The event was part of the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) which concludes this week.

The brochure, aimed at young people living with HIV, contains explicit and graphic details on sex, as well as the promotion of casual sex in many forms. The brochure claims, “Many people think sex is just about vaginal or anal intercourse… But, there are lots of different ways to have sex and lots of different types of sex. There is no right or wrong way to have sex. Just have fun, explore and be yourself!” The brochure goes on to encourage young people to “Improve your sex life by getting to know your own body. Play with yourself! Masturbation is a great way to find out more about your body and what you find sexually stimulating. Mix things up by using different kinds of touch from very soft to hard. Talk about or act out your fantasies. Talk dirty to them.”

The brochure also tells students that national laws requiring HIV-positive people to reveal their status to their partner(s) “violate the rights of people living with HIV” and calls for advocacy to “change laws that violate your rights.” It explains, “There are many reasons that people do not share their HIV status. … They may worry that people will find out something else they have kept secret, like they are using injecting drugs, having sex outside of a marriage or having sex with people of the same gender.”

The Girl Scouts, along with the YMCA have been co-moderating a young women’s caucus that included an “Intergenerational Conversation” side event on “universal access” and “reproductive health.” One recent Girl Scout project “aims at securing the right of women, men and adolescents aged between ten and twenty-five, to better reproductive and sexual health.”



Also at CSW last week, the heads of various powerful UN agencies including the UN Population Fund, UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), UN Children's Fund and the World Health Organization released a “UN Joint Statement” under the name of the “UN Adolescent Girls Task Force,” which calls for their agencies to promote and support programs “that empower … adolescent girls, particularly those aged 10 to 14 years.” One of the chief priorities for empowerment is ensuring access to “life-skills based sexuality education, HIV prevention, and sexual and reproductive health.”

The New York Times recently reported that UN Population Fund had co-sponsored a very controversial curriculum with UNESCO, that included teaching children as young as five to be sexually active and training adolescents to advocate for abortion.

Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women of America told the Friday Fax, “Governments and NGOs should be aware of Planned Parenthood’s insidious plan to work with UN agencies and girls’ organizations in order to profit from encouraging kids to be sexually active.”

'Planned Parenthood' is a racist, population control agency which began life with Margaret Sanger in the '30s. Its original agenda was to reduce the BLACK population - but you'll never hear 'em admit to that. Their agenda today is abortion. Hmm ... how much different is it to control the size of ALL populations instead of just one ... ? No different - just a matter of scaling up ... these people are merchants of death. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. They advocate for legalized murder. Enlisting the Girl Scouts to assist in their promotion of abortion, infanticide, and murder in the name of population control (or, if you prefer, 'ethnic cleansing') is a subtle form of brainwashing and indoctrination. The 'if it feels good, do it' approach ... ? Well, you figure that one out ...

yeah..just teach no sex with no other options..and then let them all get knocked up. The trailer parks are filling and the welfare lines is growing as I type!

What the hell are they thinking by telling young people they should not ask or reveal their HIV status to other people?Instead of the girl scouts passing out pamplets to promote sleeping around with people they have no idea about.They should be promoting preventing STD's,Aids awareness,and celebicy.

I don't think the girl scouts of all people should be promoting HIV positive people to be more sexualy active.I read the pamphlet and it seems to be treating HIV as just some other STD.I was espically surprised to be reading several times that it was the HIV positive persons "choice" in regard to reveling and his or her "right" to tell his or her partner their HIV status.

Nobody wants to get HIV yet millions get it every year.According to the CDC database....

Persons Living with HIV/AIDS

At the end of 2007, the estimated number of persons living with HIV/AIDS in the 34 states and 5 dependent areas with confidential name-based HIV/AIDS infection reporting was 571,378. In the 34 states only, this included 549,196 adults and adolescents, and 2,736 children under age 13 years.

Over 571,000 people in only 34 states people!I wonder how many thousands more have HIV and don't even know it.I'm sure those 571,000 did not want Aids yet got it from someone who either lied or they were sleeping with someone they didn't know.

I would strongly discourage HIV or Aids positive people to have sexual encouters.I know if you encourage sexual behavior people will always take advantage of it and take it to excess.The only way to stop the Aids virus from spreading is for the people who have Aids to stop spreading it through drugs or sexual encounters.

I wonder if the girls scouts are going to have a pamplet on people lving with STD's and how they should be sexualy active.

Well...I guess we need them to start controlling population overall, right? I mean we are already overpopulated, right? Maybe there is some kind of political movement we can start. Kill Everyone! No, that is too harsh, something softer. Perhaps, Cut Down the Population! That sounds better, I say we use it.

I would have to read more. I find it difficult ANYONE would condone literature describing alternate sexual habits and encouraging secrecy about STDs (and towards those as young as TEN?), let alone amongst girl scouts....its very scary...

Judging from the OP's post this sounds very one sided.... I'd have to hear the other side of the conversation before making any conclusions... From what I've seen so far they haven't done anything wrong...

Interesting booklet,, not thrilled at the ages the OP says it is aimed at though,,,

All I can say is

Ok. I read it. It is for young adults with HIV.
People who are planning a family. Important information.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

I like the girl scouts.
I have been eating their trefoils for years!

I think the information is best suited for Older teens, not pre pubescent. I agree with most of the recommendations in it for those emotionally able to deal with sex and all it entails, but I think its quite horrid to encourage ANYONE to remain secretive with their sexual partner about any std they may have.
