Is revenge sometimes justified? Keep in mind that this could be revenge by gossip, physical, whatever I think the satisfaction of revenge depends on the particular situation at hand! Sometimes revenge can be "sweet"! Also, there is that little bit of "getting them back" feeling! JMO-If I Still Have One! no you don't still have one...I took it away ok....can you give an example? Hmmm....example: OK...say there is this top notch computer you want to buy, and you have been bragging to your friend how great it is! OK...he jumps down to the store and gets it for himself...with no regard to your plans to get it! You go to get it...it's gone! You find out later that your friend bought it out from under you! Time passes, and he all of a sudden has a problem with it! He also knows you been in the repair business for 30 years, and asks you to help with fixing the problem!!! Ah ha...now your turn to explain to him that as much as you would like to help...you feel reluctant to do so, because of the way he bought it before you could get it! (sweet revenge) I know this is a rough example...but was the quickest thing I could come up with at 1am! That sounds awfully childish. Chances are, he didn't buy the last one in the world, so it shouldn't have prevented you from getting what you want. If you're going to withhold help because of something silly like this, doesn't sound like you're being a good friend. |

After you had your revenge, no matter how big or small, how will you feel? And is the aftermath of that feeling really worth it in the long run?

Revenge is "lowering ones self"?????? or deprecieates ones own standing?????
HAH! Apparently you gals ain't doing it right. Sign that special someone up on a half a dozen local gay dating sites. Pop two holes in a can of tuna and pour the juice down the windshield defrost vent. Add thier name and address to a charitable donations mailing list...they get 2-3 per day for decades. Is this petty?...yeah. Childish and spiteful?....Absolutely. Gratifying? ....You better believe it! But, sometimes Karma needs a helping hand for them to "get what they got coming" Sometimes the vengeance thing needs to be physical to fit the circumstance and I can tell you right now, that it is a really good feeling to watch someone literally scamper away to keep thier distance when they know that they have earned a whipping. |

...I know it takes a "bigger person" to just walk away after being hurt by another person and or a loved one. But I have to admit I have done both in my 50 some years. It all depends if you ask me. I once through a butterscotch cream pie in the face of a guy I had been going with for sometime, all I will say is ... he had it coming! It happened in a neighborhood bar..(where else?) I also cut out a large piece so when I returned home after "the event" I ate it! So now you all know why I have the nickname meanmarthajean. |

Does it have to be something physical? If you believe that what you put out there comes back to you..or "what you sow, so shall you reap"...then yes. If your talking smack and garbage all the time then it's lowering your own vibration which will return low vibration smack and garbage to you....jmho |

Is revenge sometimes justified? Keep in mind that this could be revenge by gossip, physical, whatever Whether or not it is justified is really irrelevant. It is always harmful to the person committing the revenge....so even if it's justified, it's not worth it. |

Does it have to be something physical? Words are equally as powerful as fists. Yes, it includes those things and they are just as destructive. |

Attachment to a wrongfulness, and wanting to see the other harmed is being less, than the original perpetrator.
Everything is in balance, EVERYTHING returns to it's basic order...so with an understanding of this, there is no need to want or wish harm on another. Justified....interesting word....how is revenge 'just'? |

Revenge only brings you down to their level no matter how you seek it. I'm a true believer in Karma.............what goes around will come around within time..........I just hope I'm there to see it at times.........
