I'm thinking the silent treatment is a form of mental warfare and works great on me lol (but don't try it  )
I can't stay quiet long enough to use it on anyone though
 forgot the usual disclaimer
Hummmmmmm must be a Texas thang for I can't shut up that long either..........But.......when it is done to me then well I just walk away and don't talk to them either they will finally come around or they will stay mad..... 
I have noticed this about Texas women......

you let them stew...... its about them not you so go do something, read a book watch tv, play on the internet, whatever I like the idea of "whatever". Care to elaborate? 
if they cant communicate and express whats wrong......let them deal with it// why spoil your day

how do you handle when someone gives you the silent treatment? I am rarely speechless so it's a concept I don't quite get lol. I don't talk to people who give me the silent treatment. And I don't listen to people who can't shut up. |

i just simply refuse to be pulled into someone elses negativity...
i communicate on a very honest level...if they dont respect me enough to do the same....thats not my problem and its not about me..they may point fingers and say it is but if they cant talk like an adult i;ll just let them stew

people who use the silent treatment need to grow up. if they wanna play that way, slap a piece of duct tape over their mouth and insure they don't speak to you
