What I find amusing is that you left wingers spend all your time trashing Palin, Limbaugh, and fox news..
What that tells me is that you have absolutely nothing positive to say about your president and his cronies in congress.. As I have stated before, It must be very difficult knowing that you voted for these bunch of .... losers.. The first year of the Obamanation has been a complete and total failure. I am not a fan of Sarah but one thing I love about her is she is the perfect all American woman.She may not be the brightest woman in the world but she has heart and soul with skin as tough as nails.I can only think of a few women who could handle the emotional stress of not only having every orifice of your political career probed and dissected but also your family and personal life.Just hearing about what she has gone though makes me wonder why she hasn't killed herself yet. Sarah is a trooper,a leader,and someone who can take as much heat as you can dish out and still stand tall.She is the Rocky balboa of women leadership.Like her or hate her she will likely go down in history as one of the worlds most successful and influential women.I know if I was in battle and I had to have another soldier guarding my back I would be honored to have her fighting next to me. As far as the writing on her hand.I thought it was cute.Why people make a fuss over something so trivial just shows how afraid they are of her.No teleprompter,no paper on the podium with highlights.Just her speaking from her heart the way it should be anyways. |

Same could be said of most women in my family,,but you could add that most are educated as well and can speak for themselves in professional settings. I think Palin is fine in smaller settings but not globally educated enough to be president of these states. I have been to see OBama ,, TWICE now,, and with NO telepromper present. I have watched his interviews with no teleprompter and he speaks quite clearly and knowledgably. Palin scared me to death when I first heard her speak without assistance from speech writers, and her interviews,, downright terrifying. |

Remember though, that McCain picked Palin not the american people. I am not sure what womens movement supports her but most women I know were highly insulted that she was chosen amongst all the better suited women available. Women dont want to just support someone because they have ovaries,, they want them to be capable and intelligent as well. I would doubt as well that she comes anywhere close to the popularity(ongoing) of Oprah Winfrey. Her status came merely because McCain chose her to run with him but I believe there is very little (so far at least) special enough about her to maintin an ongoing support and popularity. Now that women have seen someone like her get to that point,, dont you think there will be plenty of others campaigning for that spot who will happen to have ALOT more knowledge of what the position entails and how to handle it? She was far from best candidate and the attention drawn to that will , thankfully, bring all the truly AMAZING women out from the closet to run in upcoming elections. For that reason, I am thankful this woman was selected for the temporary spotlight. |

I remember once while I was serving in the Navy I was talking to this Navy seal and we were talking about women in combat and why they are not allowed to serve on the front lines.He said "The enemy can capture a male soldier,pull his fingernails out,gouge out his eyes,and shock him half to death and he isn't going to talk.You can capture a female soldier,sit her down in a chair,and just tell her you are going to cut all of her hair off and she will tell you everything you want to know".
