We just had our first meeting and started a new group where an old group used to be. There was just two of us but we hope more members show up. We are are waiting for our starter group papers. We got the main thing; The coffee pot.

This brings back memories from when I was in the Navy, my sponsor was a retired Chief Warrant Officer, salty SOB too, and he had me start a meeting on base where an old meeting used to be... I used to complain to him how nobody was showing up, I was making coffee, openining the door, getting all the readings out, and nobody was showing up... He would say, are you showing up? Are you staying sober? Looking back, he was right! After one years time it grew to five members consistant.

May was 10 years a day at a time and I can say, It's been one hell of a life, I can't imagine life any other way today and it all started by showing up!

Think I'll keep suiting up and showing up!

I love those epiphanies. I long to have more of my own. I dont feel like Ive grown much lately.
