What are some basic rules you would think a hitman would follow? I'm making a video, and need some ideas. I already have some thoughts, tell me what you think.

Rules:
Plan escape first, entrance second.
You're not a theif.
No women, no kids.
No evidence.
No witnesses.
Take everything you came with.

Leave NOTHING behind.
Plan ahead.
No paper trail.

Pre-establish an alibi!

If you shoot somebody...hit the gun barrel with a hammer. This will ruin the ballistics. Then take the gun apart in pieces and bury them in separate places....

First ALWAYS wear gloves ... secondly try to make it look like an accident ...

latex gloves are a must

plus a good supply of theatrical makeup for face changes and a supply of passports to match each face

New phone number every so often
Make your own bullets
Untraceable car/license plate

If at all possible...stab yr victim with an icesycle. The evidence will melt. Going about how you do this is up to you....

Exotic poisons are always good too....

Very ordinary looking helps too. Looking like everyone else, nothing out of the ordinary.

The Hitman will need a burn phone, and cash so he leaves no electronic signature.

A shoe phone like "get smart" could be useful..I don't really know what for, but hey I just got up.

The game I'm using for the video is Hitman: Blood Money, so some of these suggestions are already dealt with in the game (phone, gloves, transportation, and payment.) Either way, excellent ideas and they will be used.

hit men don't exist, that is their greatest forte.......

Hit men are a rare breed, many consider them psychopaths, because they can't understand why someone would even choose such a career, but it's like anything else, business.....and in most cases the targets of true hitmen are usually bad people.....

Pick up all shell casings if any are left always loads the gun with gloves on in order not to leave finger prints on the bullets.

The gun has to be one that is easily broke down that can be put within a briefcase or tool box where it would not be noticeable if someone say him walking with it.

Phone must be prepaid phones only and destroyed after each job. Make sure the SIM Card is totally destroyed so it can not be read on incoming and outgoing calls.

If you're a hitman, you have that evidence to consider, as far as the method goes. You shoot them, quick, easy, but you have the noise from the gunshot, unless you use a silencer. Have to be in fairly close range if you use a pistol, sniper rifle would be strategically more effective. Shells and GSR. Find some way to clean those up. And then there's the ballistic trace. Get rid of the gun ASAP and destroy it slag or scrap, they can trace the scratches on the bullet to your rifle or pistol barrel. Driveby works if the hitman subcontracts a few gangmembers to do it. They'll do anything for guns, drugs, and money.
