Oh my God, that's awful! That he was abusive... Aw che! Glad you got out of that mess! There's no reason for abuse. I had a friend in a relationship like that, and he tried to pull that crap out on me. He did not know what he was dealing with, but he soon found out... muah hahahahahaha You brought tears, happy tears to my eyes.. you are such a kind hearted soul... thank you. This thing is, it kind of creeps up on ya and then, you don't have anyway out. It's not as easy as you'd think sometimes... but, you're a doll!

what bothered you most about your ex? I think what bothered me most was the gun I had pointed at me when I came home from work one night. Or...it could have been the knives that would fly in my general direction. Kind of a toss up between those two. Holy cow, are you sure you and I weren't seeing the same woman? The similarity is uncanny. She was a maneater cheating liar too, I'm pretty sure yours was as well.

They have to want to go, and do it themselves. What a condundrum this is. If they won't help themselves, then they are doomed to keep repeating the same behavior, so sad.
