A politician should never be taken for their words on the campaign trail. They should be decided upon based on their voting record, and stance on issues, before they were seeking a higher office. Unfortunately, too many people listen to the rhetoric, instead of digging deeper, to see if a candidate really stands for what most closely resembles the stance of the individual voter (with no regard for popular opinion). More often than not, a politicians campaign speech does not match his or her past statements, or voting record.

Nothing got accomplished with healthcare.

He got -some- healthcare through. That's incredible given the childish, malignant and frankly quite offensive natures of the opposition.

That is totally absurd. Maybe you should focus a little more on the fact that the Democrats, with huge majorities, couldn't get the job done. I'm tired of hearing people complaining about Republican obstruction when its totally meaningless. The Democrats couldn't agree.. That is the problem. Obstruction within their ranks.... Obama was playing with the peoples' trust and now he's gonna break everything he stood for, hopefully this will be a good lesson for the people never to go with what they say during the campaign season.

Well, I think signing an ORDER completes his part of the promise. He cant promise what OTHERS will do or how long they will take.

He has ACTUALLY done quite a bit in his 382 day presidential role(presidents dont pass bills,,,,they can only implement them and wait for congress and senate to do their part

He signed an order to have it closed. And it's not!
Maybe he should have done some more research into what needed to happen in order for it to be closed. I know he didn't make the decision himself. He has advisors to help him with theses issues.
I guess what I'm trying to say is he signed the order, and it supposedly made the US look better in the worlds eyes.
What are they thinking now that what he ORDERED didn't get done?

I don't believe this . if he had not gave all the tax money to the rich he could have got everybody that wanted to back to work . If you listen closely to what he is saying you well hear a lot of racism coming from him . tarting with the Gates affair and continuing threw his state of the union speech .

Obama hasn't done anything. Look around you, read the news..go shop whatever..It's not like there is a new president whatsoever. Here is where i get off from the republican train, because I don't like them either.

There is really no difference whatsoever. He extended the war and created a much worse political environment actually. His "peace prize" is a giant joke if you consider that.

If you think somehow that democrats are different types than republicans, then you might want to consider the facts, that the Congress has been Dem majority since 2006 , That's 4 years now and absolutely nothing changed.
