Just finished The Great Siege: Malta 1565. A history book that reads like a novel. Highly recommend it.
Now I have to decide between Jane Eyre Ultraterrestrial Contact: A Paranormal Investigator's Explorations into the Hidden Abduction Epidemic or Jack the Ripper and the Case for Scotland Yard's Prime Suspect |

Just finished reading The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy 'trilogy' of five books, now about to start the 6th book in the series which isn't by Douglas Adams, will see if it deserves to be included! I haven't read the 6th yet, let us know how it is. I was bitterly disappointed and gave up on it after a few chapters. I might give it another attempt at a later date, as i was probably expecting too much from it. I think i was expecting the author to be able to mimic Adam's style. Those are some big shoes to fill. I think I'll wait and get a cheap paperback of it. |

Thank you, Dan! ![]() One of the problems going digital is that is does create the possibility for people to download your books illegally. You can download books just like you can music and films. I just did a search for your name on the torrent site i use and there is nothing of yours on there. Maybe it would be worth doing regular checks as it might be possible for you to get any torrents removed. I know it is basically theft but i couldnt resist it when i found one single file to download with several thousand books within it. After a couple of hours i pretty much had a lifetimes worth of reading, for nothing. Your books are the only books i'll actually be paying for now. |

Dan, I have checked a few of the torrent sites on and off over the past year or so for that exact reason. At this point, I don't think I've made enough of a mark on the industry to be widely stolen, but it's always a possibility down the road. At this point, I don't think I've made enough of a mark on the industry to be widely stolen, but it's always a possibility down the road. Unfortunately it isn't quite as simple as just doing a search for your name or book titles. Many torrents are files of several books and your search would not bring those up. I suppose if illegal downloading does become an issue for you, at least it means your mark is being made! |
