Body of a Horse, Heart of a Man by Rhonda Davis. A take on the Greek Centaurs. Looks like a "young adult" book, and so far, cute.

Nice to see so many people reading! I wondered whether I was the only member who COULD read at the last site I was at!

I'm currently reading 'Chosen to Die' by Lisa Jackson.

Anne McCaffrey's 6 books on Petaybee

Loved Anne McAffrey's Dragons of Pern series. Read it when I was a kid and she started my love for dragons.

I'm reading The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran.

Thoroughly enjoyed that book. Another one you might enjoy is Earth Abides by George R. Stewart. That one is about what happens if a plague hits.

Pern is probably my favorite of her series. Her son has been doing a pretty good job with the feel and flow of the books and mixing them into the series as well.

Mom and I would be laying out in the lake, floating on air mattresses watching the planes fly over. We'd joke about them going between when they disappeared from view.

Love Kahlil Gibran's writings too.
